Kritsyuk Stas in contact on May 17. Football player Stanislav Kritsyuk: biography, achievements and interesting facts

The Russian school of goalkeepers is rightfully considered one of the best to this day. Among the Russian goalkeepers there are a number of football players who have experience playing in top European championships. One of them is Krasnodar goalkeeper Stanislav Kritsyuk, who has experienced all the power and style of Portuguese football.

Football childhood

Kritsyuk Stanislav Vasilievich was born on December 1, 1990 in Tolyatti. From the time he went to primary school, his parents sent the boy to the football section, from where he soon moved to the Yuri Konoplev Football Academy. The goalkeeper's talent was very noticeable to the school's mentors, and after completing his studies, in 2008, Stanislav Kritsyuk received an invitation to play for the Second Division team - "Academy".

Coming to adult football

For the first adult team, Stanislav played only 4 matches, in which he missed 4 goals, after which he changed clubs, signing an agreement with FC Tolyatti. At first, the goalkeeper took the place of number two, being on the bench for most of the games. But in the second year, the coaching staff began to trust the player more, who eventually took part in 18 meetings over two seasons, conceding a total of 36 goals, which did not make the club management very happy. Nevertheless, the player’s potential and great talent allowed the coaches to count on him, and at times Stanislav Kritsyuk demonstrated incredible reaction and play on the goal line.

Return to the Academy

At the beginning of 2010, due to the merger of FC Togliatti with the Academy, the goalkeeper again found himself in his native club, but, being already a more experienced player, he increasingly received a chance to prove himself. In the first season alone, Stanislav Kritsyuk, a football player who was regularly invited to youth and youth teams, took part in 20 meetings of the Togliatti club, conceding 22 goals. Despite the goalkeeper's brilliant play, in the next two seasons the club's mentors did not allow the player to join the team so often. Dissatisfied with his position, in 2013 Stanislav decided to change the team.

Travel to Portugal

Portuguese Braga decided to sign the talented Russian. For the first half of the season, Stanislav Kritsyuk played for the second team of the club, where he tried to prove himself in order to get into the first team. During this period, Kritsyuk showed a decent performance, keeping three clean sheets in 12 meetings, but due to the presence of more experienced players, he was forced to spend the second part of the championship outside the team. At the request of the goalkeeper himself, the club management agreed to loan the player to another Portuguese championship club, Rio Ave.

However, even there the goalkeeper had almost no playing experience - during his entire time at the club from the city of Vila do Conde, he appeared on the field only in three meetings, in each of which he missed one goal. However, after returning to Braga, the Russian began to get some playing time in the championship. On August 17, 2014, the goalkeeper learned the good news for himself - in the match against the Boavista club, Stanislav Kritsyuk would take his place in goal. The goalkeeper played his debut match for Braga very confidently, not allowing the opponent to hit the goal even once. The Russian spent 4 more matches in a row in the starting lineup, after which he again found himself on the bench. During the season, Kritsyuk appeared on the field 18 more times, playing most of the games in the Portuguese Cup, and finished the next football year with 8 clean sheets out of 21 meetings.

He showed decent results in the 2015/16 season. Having played the entire first half of the championship, the Russian conceded only 13 goals in 18 matches and left his goal intact in 9 matches. This result attracted the attention of a number of European clubs, and at the end of 2015, the goalkeeper received an offer from the Russian Krasnodar, where he went on loan for six months with an option to buy.

Game for Krasnodar

When Stanislav arrived at the Krasnodar club, the team already had two experienced goalkeepers - Andrei Dikan and Andrei Sinitsyn, but from the very first match Stanislav Kritsyuk won a place in the base. He played the rest of the season for Krasnodar, keeping clean sheets 8 times in 12 meetings, conceding only 6 goals. The club's satisfied management did not return the player to Portugal and exercised the right of redemption, signing a contract with the goalkeeper until the summer of 2020.

The Russian also started the 2015/16 season as the club’s first goalkeeper. Regularly appearing on the field both in the Russian Championship and in the Europa League, by the end of 2016 he was one of the leaders of the Premier League in the number of clean sheets - he had 8 of them in 17 rounds. As part of the European Cup series, Stanislav played two qualifying matches to zero, and then in 5 games of the group stage he became one of the creators of the club’s entry into the playoffs, conceding only 6 goals, once keeping a zero on the opponent’s account. During the winter transfer window of the 2016/17 season, Zenit St. Petersburg was interested in the goalkeeper, but the player’s transfer did not take place.

National successes

Since 2007, Stanislav Kritsyuk has been called up to the national team more than once. In 2007 and 2008, the Russian took part in 11 meetings of the U17 and U18 national team, showing confident play. Soon, the coach of the Russian youth team, Nikolai Pisarev, invited the goalkeeper to participate in the European Championship, and on January 20, 2012, Kritsyuk made his debut - in the match against Estonia, Stanislav played all 90 minutes, not allowing the opponent to score. In total, the goalkeeper took part in only 4 matches for the youth team, missing only one goal.

And in 2016, Kritsyuk received an invitation to the main national team. In March, the goalkeeper was called up for a friendly match against the Lithuanian national team, but did not appear on the field, and six months later, on November 10, the goalkeeper made his debut. As part of a friendly match with Qatar, Stanislav replaced Igor Akinfeev, who was injured, on the field, and in the 33 minutes he received he made a number of spectacular saves, but missed one goal.

Personal life

Stanislav Kritsyuk, whose personal life was little covered by the media, and the goalkeeper himself rarely published his photographs on the Internet, is completely absorbed in his career.

At the moment, the goalkeeper of the Russian national team and Krasnodar is single, but for a long time he has been dating a girl, Yulia, in whose company he likes to spend most of his time.

Successes in the Portuguese and Russian elite

Over a 9-year professional career, Stanislav Kritsyuk played for 5 different clubs. The goalkeeper's statistics show a steady increase in his level every year, and his call to the national team in 2016 is further confirmation of this.

As part of the second division of the Russian championship, where the Russian goalkeeper began his career, Stanislav played 61 matches for the Academy and Tolyatti, in which he missed 76 goals. The next stage in the goalkeeper's career was the Portuguese championship. As part of the second team of Braga, he played 12 meetings in the second league of the championship - Ledman League Pro, where he kept the goal locked three times, conceding 14 goals. In the Liga Sagres, where the Russian managed to play for both Braga and Rio Ave, Stanislav played 30 matches, in exactly half of them he kept a clean sheet, and took the ball out of the net 19 times.

In the Portuguese Cup and League Cup, the Russian has 12 matches with 19 goals and 4 clean sheets. For a season and a half in the Russian Premier League, where Kritsyuk came in 2015, there are only 28 matches so far, in 16 of which the opponent was unable to open the gates of Krasnodar, and only shot through the goalkeeper 19 times, and in the Russian Cup Kritsyuk appeared only twice, conceding three goals. In Stanislav's main competition at the moment - the Europa League, he has only 7 matches with 6 goals and three clean sheets. In total, at this stage, the goalkeeper's statistics include 152 matches, in which he conceded 149 goals, and 47 clean sheets. So far, Kritsyuk has only one match and one missed goal for the main Russian national team.

Stanislav Vasilievich Kritsyuk born on December 1, 1990 in the city of Tolyatti. He is a graduate of the Football Academy named after. Yu. Konopleva from her hometown. In 2008, at the age of 17, he made his debut at the Dimitrovgrad Academy in the Russian Second Division. Later he defended the gates of Togliatti and the same Academy, which moved to the city, and played in the youth and youth teams of Russia.
In 2013, the goalkeeper signed a contract with Braga and left for Portugal. First he played on loan at Rio Ave, then for Braga II in the lower division, and made his debut directly at Braga in August 2014. Since then, Kritsyuk has played more than 40 matches at the last frontier of the club from the city of the same name and in the 2015/2016 season he became its solid number one. He played the entire 18 games of the Portuguese championship, conceding only 13 goals and, with his mature and reliable play, earned high marks from specialists, as well as from the local sports press.
At the beginning of 2016, Krasnodar and Braga agreed on all the details of Stanislav Kritsyuk’s lease until the end of the 2015/2016 season with a buyout option. After passing a medical examination, on January 27, the goalkeeper joined the “citizens” and began working with new partners at the preparatory training camp. With his confident actions, Stanislav quickly won a place in the team’s starting lineup and played all the matches in the spring part of the 2015/2016 Russian Championship and Cup without replacement. At the end of the season Krasnodar took advantage of the option in the lease agreement and bought the rights to the goalkeeper from Braga, signing a long-term personal contract with Kritsyuk himself until the end of June 2020.

Not long ago, the coaching staff of the Russian national football team announced a list of players called up for the next two friendly matches with Lithuania and France. The goalkeeper position caused the greatest controversy: firstly, four goalkeepers were called up for these two matches at once (usually no more than three are called up), and secondly, two newcomers were among them. If the naturalized Brazilian Guilherme is familiar to most fans of domestic football from his performances for Lokomotiv Moscow, then many are hearing the name of the second debutant for the first time. This is Stanislav Kritsyuk. The footballer, leased by Krasnodar from the Portuguese Braga, is glad to return to his homeland and, judging by his first matches in the RFPL, intends to impose serious competition on the number one of the national team.

The beginning of Kritsyuk's career

Stanislav Vasilievich Kritsyuk was born on December 1, 1990 in the city of Tolyatti. He began to take his first steps in football at the Football Academy named after. Yu. Konopleva, whose other famous graduates were Artur Yusupov, Roman Zobnin and others. Stanislav’s debut in professional football occurred in 2008, as part of the Academy (Dimitrovgrad), which at that time played in the second division (in terms of rank, this is the third division in Russian football).

Stanislav Kritsyuk spent the next five years in various Tolyatti teams that did not rise above the second division.

In 2013, a turning point for Stanislav’s career took place in the Portuguese football club Braga (from the city of the same name). The D-Sports agency, with which Kritsyuk collaborated, helped him with this. After a successful screening, the footballer signed a contract with the Portuguese team.

Performance in Portugal and return to Russia

Kritsyuk did not immediately make it into the main team of Braga. He played for the first half of the 2013-2014 season for Braga's second team, and then was sent on loan to Rio Ave. For the club from the city of Vila do Conde, which at that time played in the top Portuguese league, Stanislav played only one match.

That summer, Stanislav Kritsyuk returned to Braga and finally made his debut for the main team in August 2014. Kritsyuk did not become a solid number one that season, but he regularly played in the Portuguese Cup. In one sixteenth of the finals of the Braga Cup, with the participation of Kritsyuk, Lisbon beat Benfica, one of the leaders of Portuguese football. Subsequently, the team reached the final, where they lost to another Lisbon team, Sporting, in a penalty shootout.

In the 2015-2016 season, Kritsyuk took over as the main goalkeeper of Braga, but already in January of the sixteenth year he was loaned to the Russian club Krasnodar. The lease terms provide for a buyout option.

Personal life and hobbies

In Portugal, Kritsyuk was supported by his girlfriend, who moved to him from Tolyatti.

Stanislav is interested in martial arts. Before starting to play football, Kritsyuk went to boxing for some time. At the age of 19, he resumed his boxing training and has since devoted a lot of free time to it.

By his own admission, Kritsyuk prefers home holidays with his beloved to travel.

Opinion of football experts about Kritsyuk

A well-known former football player and now Krasnodar coach Andrei Tikhonov is confident that Stanislav Kritsyuk is fully consistent with the level of the Russian national team. In his opinion, Stanislav benefited from a business trip to Portugal, where he managed to become one of the best goalkeepers in the league: after playing in Europe, the footballer developed the mentality of a true professional. Tikhonov believes that Kritsyuk’s lack of experience playing for Russian big clubs is not a problem.

According to the senior coach of the Russian youth team, during training, Kritsyuk could save several penalties in a row. Pisarev notes Stanislav’s ability to play on the line.
