Children's blouse, knitted, raglan. Trend of the season: “grass sweater How to knit a sweater from grass with simple threads

The fantasy yarn “Travka” looks so unusual, interesting and positive even in a skein that it will be difficult for even less skilled craftswomen to resist buying it. Working with it is not so difficult, but you should remember a few rules that will help you knit a truly high-quality product.
“Travka” is a very interesting in appearance, unusual yarn with a pile from 0.5 to several centimeters. It is made from polyester or polyamide, sometimes with the addition of Lurex or other metallics. The variety of colors, unusually delicate, silky structure - all this allows the yarn to be used not only for the production of children's and adult clothing, but also for the manufacture of toys, souvenirs, blankets and much more. When used skillfully, products and their parts made from “Grass” will resemble spring grass, shaggy frost, and precious fur.

Yarn "Grass" is suitable for hand knitting both knitting and crocheting, you can knit with it on a machine. And, it would seem, knitting should not create any problems.

Firstly, products from “Travka” do not require the choice of complex patterns, neither relief nor openwork - the pattern will still be hidden by the pile. They knit from this yarn with knitting needles - regular satin stitch, knit or purl; crochet - double crochets. Secondly, for knitting you should take a hook or knitting needles big size, No. 4 - 6, which means the work will go pretty quickly. There is no need to be afraid of excessive looseness of the canvas - the thick pile will hide all this.

But those who have already knitted with Grass know that the pile, while decorating the product, makes the work very difficult. In order not to spoil the yarn and not waste time, you should remember a few simple rules.

The basic rule is that the pile of the thread during knitting should be positioned with the tips of the threads from left to right. This is one of the main difficulties - the skeins that go on sale are formed just the opposite way, and at first glance it is easier to knit. This is true, but the quality of the canvas will suffer. It is necessary to rewind the purchased skein, but it is easier to pull the tip of the thread from the middle of the skein and start knitting from there - in this case the direction will be correct.

With very thick and long pile, you literally have to knit “by touch”; you need to be very careful not to miss a loop. At first it is difficult, but as you work, you will gain dexterity, and perhaps your own way of releasing the pile, making the canvas fluffier.

Those who want to get a denser product will have to add either a dense cotton thread like “Iris” to the “Travka” thread, or, if they need a warmer product, a thin wool thread. Products made only from “Travka”, especially those knitted with thick knitting needles, turn out to be too airy and plastic, and do not hold their shape and size very well.

But don’t forget that “Travka” yarn can be used to knit not only and not so much independent products. It is very good for finishing clothes, both knitted and sewn from any material. Elements of sweaters, jackets, suits, shawls knitted with “Grass” will transform the usual appearance of clothing.

My handicrafts/My snow whites (acrylic+grass)

For Ritochka (margo68) I’m showing another costume for my daughter using “grass” and a blouse for my granddaughter made of German acrylic with lurex.
The suit is knitted in two threads - boucle mohair + thin acrylic, with grass + acrylic trim (knitting in 2 threads).
I knitted it for the girls for the New Year, my granddaughter has already grown up and I’m knitting the blouse down, it will be a dress (but that’s exactly what I envisioned when I came up with this model. Knitted with knitting needles. I’ll show you in detail later.

Ottoman made from plastic bottles

What people can’t come up with, what they can make from. And now, while browsing the Internet, I came across an interesting idea: an ottoman made from plastic bottles.

The idea and master class are offered by an interesting, cheerful woman with golden hands - Maria Karavanova.

1 bottle connected with tape

2 cut out circles (top and bottom) from thick cardboard

3 connected it with tape

4 I cut out a rectangle and 2 circles from insulation (left over from building a house. Here in Australia they put it inside the walls).

You can use foam rubber, synthetic padding... I connected everything with hand stitches, over the edge.

5 cut out from a used trike. T-shirt, rectangle and 2 circles, sewn on a machine and when the whole design was inserted, hand-sewn

6 knitted from "Traffka" yarn: top-crocheted, side on knitting needles, bottom-circle made of fabric.

7 I connected everything with hand stitches

Now we enjoy our rest, watching TV or doing handicrafts...

Our feet rest on a soft ottoman. We sit on it because neither I nor my husband have problems with excess weight!

Good luck to all! I'm very glad that my idea will help someone...

You sew them in pairs, as shown in the photo, and embroider the highlights:

Face design:

Sew a nose to your head

Now you take a black pastel chalk, use a knife to scrape some of the chalk onto a sheet of paper, put some pastel crumbs on your finger and make dark circles for the eyes on the face. If you work with dark shadows, you don’t need to crumble them

You sew eyes onto the dark circles, embroider a nose with black cotton thread, and sew on ears.

If you are going to put a cap on the baby’s head, then sew it lower like mine, if not, put the ears on the head and see how you like it best.

Assembling the bear:

So, you take the thread with which you will attach the limbs.

I have this non-stretch dental floss - it’s easy to fasten, it slides where needed, helping to tighten the knot, it doesn’t get tangled, and there’s a convenient tear-off mechanism.

Now fold the bear on a flat surface, take a long needle with dental floss threaded in half (the thread is long enough), and begin stitching the parts in the sequence shown in the photo

,

Explanation of op points(each item corresponds to a number in the photo):

1. Head mounting. First, you make a stitch through the bottom of the head (where the neck should be) and pull the thread to the middle.

2. Attaching handles. Now you insert the needle into the upper part of the body (base of the neck), and bring it out where the shoulder should be. You cut the thread at the base of the needle and thread the second half of the thread sticking out of the head into the needle. In the same way, you insert the needle into the base of the neck, and insert it where the other shoulder should be.

Take your time, make sure that the threads are brought out at the same level, otherwise later one foot will be higher than the other.

Now, in turn, put a needle on the right and left threads sticking out from the shoulders and in the upper part of the paw (narrow) insert the needle and withdraw it at a distance of 1-2 cm (the same as with the head), thereby hanging the paw on the thread frame (no need to tighten, the head and arms are just hanging on the threads, so be careful so that the thread does not slip out).

3. Attaching the legs. You take one of the ends, threaded into the handle, and insert it next to the place in the shoulder from which it came out (again, at a distance of 1-2 cm) and bring it out at the bottom of the body, but on the opposite side (see photo) - this is there will be a place for attaching the leg. Do the same with the second thread.

And you attach a leg to each thread (the top is where the narrow part is).

4. Screed and fastening. Now you take the thread sticking out from the leg, insert the needle 1-2 cm from the exit point on the thigh and bring it out at the place of the navel. You do the same with the second thread, but you bring it out not in the same place, but 1-2 cm from the first (see photo).

In front of you are simply parts strung on a thread in a certain sequence. Now pull the strings sticking out of the navel - and the bear will immediately come together and become whole

Tie the threads into 3-4 knots (to be sure), thread the ends of the threads into a needle and insert them into the belly, bring them out from the opposite side, cut the ends.

The clothes can be made like this:

, how to knit a flared bottom?!

The description is written in general terms and from the point of view that I don’t like it when there are a lot of seams... If so, don’t judge.

You will need:

Weed yarn from any manufacturer
any yarn, preferably cotton of the same yardage
knitting needles No. 4.5. or 5(maybe a different size, depending on your convenience) length from 60 cm to 100 cm
markers

And so, the fur coat is knitted in two directions: first the body - the top of the fur coat and the skirt - the flared bottom.

Body:
You can calculate the number of loops here http://www.mnemosina.ru/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=428&Itemid=82. I will knit without side seams so that there are no difficulties when sewing, and without seams it will be neater...

Flared bottom (skirt)- I propose to knit it, using the pattern for the coat as a basis.

To do this, you need to carefully remove the additional material from the main fabric. thread and put the loops on the knitting needle along the entire length and knit in one piece. Might be a tick different sizes. You can start with 4 persons. 4 purl, or you can increase it if desired. Then the wedges will be wider. An increase can be made in every 2nd, 4th, 6th row - the splendor of the hem will depend on this... Increases can be made both with facial loops and purl stitches. leave it, you can alternate them, then the wedges will be the same size.

"I knitted from the neck with raglan, pattern 2 purl, 3 knits (preliminarily, having made calculations for the required number of loops). I increased the knit stitches in every 6th row, and 2 purls were knitted throughout the knitting . Choose the length and width yourself. Knitting needles No. 5. Yarn from the Visantia company, 150 meters per 100 grams, took 11 skeins (size 48). Knitted in one thread. Lining made with synthetic padding. Seems to have answered all your questions. Knit on health! GOOD LUCK!"

http://www.odnoklassniki.ru/profile/351761902235/album/455882471323- in the comments.

For size 48 approximately: 92 loops. 1p - 6p for clasp, 14p. on the front, 2p on the raglan, 9p. on the sleeve, 2 p. for the raglan increase, 26 p. on the back and again 2 stitches on the raglan, 9 stitches on the sleeve, 2 stitches, 14 stitches in front and 6 stitches on the clasp. It turned out 92p. =6+14+2+9+2+26+2+9+2+14.
Raglan increases of 3,7,11,15,19, etc. rows.
This is with a knitting density of 2.2 loops per 1 cm

The yarn I have is grass "Yarn Art" "SAMBA", the color is freesia, I combined it with angora thread "RAM" in the same tone, and the density is better and holds its shape - the grass stretches on its own. Knitting needles No. 3.25, circular. I started knitting from the top, from the neck, with raglan. Now I’ve reached the sleeves, put them on separate needles and knit two at the same time. The rest of the knitting is still hanging on the knitting needles... I decided to finish the sleeves, and then knit the bottom with a solid fabric - it’s better to do without seams.

At one time I knitted a lot of grass hats to order. I knitted it in two threads - “Grass” + thin mohair to match. Oh, what a texture it turns out - Mohair is not visible in knitting, but it holds the grass and makes the fabric warmer.

I really liked the fur coat
I looked at the threads, there are also Yarnart TANGO and Yarnart TECHNO very interesting threads, can anyone knit them?

Yarnart techno, unusually soft yarn, like silk! It has the longest hair of all the herbs. But there is a very small footage. I'm afraid this coat will require a lot of yarn.
Regarding Techno, it’s like swan’s down.

MANTO

The coat is knitted with knitting needles. "Travka" made in Türkiye, it took 4 skeins. Manto for 5-6 years.

I tied the slippers with Yarnart TECHNO yarn

Look: the pile is long and soft.

And also a very interesting Furlana yarn from Alize, 40 m per 100 g, fur thread. The product looks like fur. I can’t give you a link, I didn’t save it. Look in online stores, in the comments on the yarn. I loved it.

I asked Alina, one of my classmates, how she knitted? She replied that it was from the bottom up. And the diagram in pencil is knitted with wedges before raglan.

- I don't understand how to knit the sleeves. Or do you just knit in a circle and leave the loops on the sleeves?

- There is no need to leave the loops. You knit the sleeves up to the armhole, divide the stitches into the back and fronts and knit each one separately, closing the armhole loops and you end up with only 2 shoulder seams. It turns out like a bovovinka vest, you sew the cast hangers, and the sleeves are knitted separately and sewn in.

One of my classmates joined a group where a girl knits a coat from grass, a very beautiful model like this, only with smaller flares. But it doesn’t give a description... it’s greedy... anyone interested in seeing the group is called KNITTED MIRACLES, and in the photo of the group the dog is a pug pink hat close-up...

Sarvar Makhova: It took me 12 skeins of irvka, 150 meters each, 100 grams. 4.5 circular knitting needles and acrylic allowed about 10 skeins. I knitted raglan on top somewhere around size 48-52. I crocheted the placket, collar, and cuffs - 80 stitches at the beginning, at the end there were 400, sleeves - 60, without adding. MAYBE THIS WILL HELP SOMEONE IN THEIR WORK

Every mother tries to give her child the best. Therefore, while still pregnant, many carefully prepare, buying clothes, accessories and reading tons of literature.

Do-it-yourself things, for example, like this one, will help you convey your warmth to your baby knitted blouse - raglan. The main part of the children's blouse is knitted from fluffy and soft yarn - grass. And the trim is knitted from half-wool yarn.

So, let's get started...

To make such a blouse you will need:

  • 2 skeins of fluffy grass yarn
  • and some wool blend yarn for finishing.

This is the yarn used in this master class:

Children's blouse with raglan knitting needles (knitted from grass) - description for beginners with photos:

Collar

We dial on regular or circular knitting needles 2.5 sizes 60 loops with finishing yarn and knit simple pattern“elastic band 2*2” to the desired height (12-14 rows).

Then we cut the thread and move on to the main yarn, with which we knit 2 rows stockinette stitch.

During knitting we make 4 increases.

Raglan

Now we begin to knit raglan for a children's blouse. To do this, we divide all the loops on the knitting needles into 4 unequal parts: 2 parts of 10 loops each for the front, two more for the sleeves (also 10 loops each) and one part for the back (20 loops). The 4 remaining loops will form the so-called raglan lines. We knit the first row according to the pattern.

On the wrong side we knit all the loops purlwise, but if you don’t want holes to go along the raglan line, then you need to knit the yarn over loops. It is worth noting that on fluffy yarn the holes will be almost invisible. We continue to knit the raglan to the desired length (26-28 rows). In each row, naturally, the total number of loops will increase.

So, by the end of the raglan you will have 26 loops for the front panels, 52 loops for the back and 40 loops for the sleeves.

After this, we begin to knit each part of the blouse separately. First, we knit the first part of the front (front) in stockinette stitch for approximately 48-50 rows, and then we take our finishing yarn and knit 12 rows with a 2*2 rib.

We knit the sleeve in the same way, but we make it several rows longer than the front. We also knit the cuff with finishing yarn longer (20 rows) (photo 6). Then we knit the back the same length as the front front.

After this we knit the second sleeve and the second shelf. The result should be something like this:

We fold the knitting and sew it together.

Decor

Now you need to beautifully decorate the front part of the knitted blouse. To do this, we knit two strips of finishing yarn with an elastic pattern. Cast on 80 stitches and knit 10 rows. After this we close the loops. In the second plank, do not forget to make holes for the fastener.

Now we sew both strips to the front shelves, close up all the protruding threads and sew on the buttons. It turns out such a delicate and soft children's raglan blouse, knitted, for a newborn baby (up to 3 months).
