DIY floristry New Year's compositions. Beautiful New Year's compositions with candles

Winter is often perceived by us as a monochrome time of year, where everything is filled with snow-white color. But in fact, this is a time of contrasts: white snow and juicy red berries of viburnum and rowan, purple beautiful fruit and rich greenery of conifers.

In winter, even the aromas are thicker and richer. Your bouquet can convey all this! Combine soft, airy cotton and pine cones, bright roses, oranges and spruce branches.

Combine elements that are opposite in texture, color and shape in a bouquet. That in the summer it would be too much, in winter time will enrich the bouquet and create the mood.

A real work of art! How could it be otherwise? After all, a winter bouquet often uses not only flowers, but also other natural materials that correspond to the season:

  • bunches of rowan, beautiful fruit, viburnum
  • twigs with fruits of snowberry, barberry, rosehip
  • birch branches
  • dry flower boxes with seeds, physalis
  • bumps
  • bark and graceful tree branches
  • branches of conifers (spruce, juniper, thuja, cypress)
  • cotton bolls
  • cinnamon sticks
  • star anise
  • dried oranges
  • fruits and nuts
  • dry herbs
  • hydrangea inflorescences and other dried flowers

Your imagination can suggest the most unexpected options for elements and decoration of the bouquet. Choose something that will not freeze or wither quickly, which is what we associate with winter. For example, florists advise choosing flowers for your bouquet dark shades, they are more durable and even if the petals suffer a little from the cold, it will not be noticeable.

Roses, chrysanthemums, callas, carnations, gerberas, tulips, gypsophila, freesia, hydrangea, snowdrops, and cymbidium are ideal for a winter bouquet.

Additional accessories for the bouquet can include knitted elements, ribbons, lace, cords, buttons, foil, Christmas balls, beads, organza, figurines of angels and birds.

Bright, rich, and at the same time, winter bouquet with piano roses, ilex, orchids and cotton.

This bouquet is composed of pine branches, “snow-covered” fir cones, brunia, thuja branches, snowberry and eucalyptus. Small flowers reminiscent of cherry blossoms look delicate and light in a bouquet. The bouquet handle is decorated with lace self made, twine and waxed cord with wooden buttons.

Interior composition will perfectly decorate your home on snowy winter days, complement the table setting and can easily replace the Christmas tree. Take the advice of florists and create your own unique decorative object. So:

A winter composition will have a beautiful shape if you place flowers in it at different angles and at different levels.

Any composition has a focal point - a point that attracts attention (a bright flower, a large bud, a candle, an original shaped branch). It is not necessarily located in the center, but it is around it that the entire composition is built.

Choose a container for the composition that matches the style of the interior.

If the composition will consist of fresh flowers, use a floral sponge. It will also come in handy when creating a Christmas wreath for table setting.

You can choose foam or plasticine as the basis of the composition. This base is suitable for New Year's compositions when it is necessary to secure spruce branches, balls, animal figures, garlands, and install candles.

For single cut flowers, you can use thin narrow vessels (test tubes), which can be easily secured inside the composition.

Use branches of different lengths (vines, willow twigs, tree branches and roots). With their help, you can add dynamics and direction to your composition.

A stand in the form of a cut tree is perfect for a New Year's composition. The composition itself is installed on such a stand not in the center, but is shifted to one side.

On a light background, a composition of bright and dark colors, on a dark background - a light bouquet.

You don't have to buy flowers for your winter arrangement. Most indoor plants are perfect for creating it. Moreover, many of them have a flowering period in winter. Choose:

  • poinsettia (Christmas star)
  • Schlumberger (Decembrist)
  • hippeastrum, amarylis, wallota
  • orchid
  • chlorophytum
  • cyclamen
  • azalea

Fragrant, winter composition of scarlet roses and spruce branches with cinnamon sticks and orange.

For every holiday, you want to decorate your home, make it elegant and even more welcoming in accordance with each season. And celebrating the New Year requires special sophistication. New Year's compositions are assembled ahead of time or in a matter of minutes, from beautiful little things that you have at home or from pine cones brought from the forest or park, painted or natural, pine and spruce branches, balls, nuts, flowers, garlands and snowflakes. And from glitter! Iridescent, glowing, sparkling Christmas decorations and various candles, in general, everything that pleases the eye, warms the heart and awakens inspiration, all this will make a beautiful composition with which you can decorate and New Year's table and window sills and place them on a table or nightstand or on a chest of drawers near the mirror.

Let's not beat around the bush too much and look at some ideas. I don't have a regular annual set for creating a New Year's composition. Every year I look for something new, and every time it turns out that this is not there, then that, or the recommendations for making wonders do not correspond to reality. Therefore, I selected different compositions, something that will definitely be found at home to implement the idea or so that it can be purchased inexpensively. And also, I want to talk about negative experiences with pomanders and bleached buds.

1.The brilliant appeal of Christmas balls

How to assemble a composition and make sure that the balls do not scatter, look at the video in the article

2. We use luminous garlands, battery-powered or mains-powered

The key detail here is the glowing snowball garland.

3. Let's attract indoor flowers

Cones and a candle radically change the look of a simple indoor plant, give it the mood of Christmas comfort.

As well as flowers from the garden, such as young roses and roses.

4. But magnificent artificial flowers have also found use.

4. Of course, cones.

Amazingly beautiful, different, inspiring. It’s great to collect them; this fun event already has a premonition of a home holiday.

Cones are possible bleach, dye, decorate with beads and artificial snow. When bleaching It is important to know that the buds are not bleached to absolute white, but they will still look beautiful. You need to bleach for at least 24 hours and it is better to take pine; spruce bleaches are worse.

Bleached buds

To prevent them from closing, keep them on a radiator or in the oven at a low temperature, that is, dry them so that they do not close. And then, you will get it like in the blog plumperfectandme.blogspot.com Purple Hues and Me

Ice and cones.

Painting

Simply paint the pine cones by dipping them into cans of paint and then hang them to dry. Also, such a loop screwed into the pine cone will make it easy to hang the cones on the tree or help hang them to dry:

A simple composition with pine cones and Christmas tree decorations is also fraught with manufacturing tricks.

Acorns, chestnuts and citrus fruits get along well with cones. Oranges are cut and dried.

6. About pomanders

I would really like to create a composition of fragrant pomanders, but last year’s experience is stopping me, although they look very beautiful in the pictures. And, frankly, I believe that they have an amazing smell.

What you see is done for one time table decoration only. In a couple of days, the oranges will start become moldy. Even if you follow the advice to dry them, they will look different, not so attractive, and there will be no smell from a wrinkled brown orange. True, maybe someone will succeed, but my experience was bleak and I was very sorry for the wasted money and time.

7. Fragrant compositions

But really fragrant New Year's compositions can be made if you coat the cones with glue, roll them in ground cinnamon, cloves or cardamom and place them near candles, then you can hope for success.

8. With houses

In the previous article I talked about backlit ones. New Year's compositions with houses that you can make yourself look absolutely amazing.

Or bake gingerbread houses from ginger dough. Look at the video on how to make such a wonderful composition.

9. Outdoor decor

Let's not forget about outdoor decorations, you don't even need to use artificial snow there. If you keep flowers outside the window in summer, in winter they may be replaced by beautiful compositions from fir branches, red ribbons or balls. I always display some beauty on my balcony. See the article "".

Outside the window you can make it beautiful and useful by arranging. Do plants look great on the balcony in winter? Read it
