Sunflower from a plastic bottle for the garden. DIY sunflower from scrap materials How to make a sunflower from a plastic bottle

Crafting sunflowers with your own hands will certainly captivate every child. Sunflowers are bright, expressive flowers that retain their attractiveness even after they bear fruit - seeds loved by children and adults.
It is not surprising that these plants attract attention and arouse interest among children, who are happy to try to convey their images in their creativity.

This craft will be relevant for kindergarten– sunflower can be made in various techniques, including one that does not require constant supervision and assistance from an adult. The kids in small group They will be able to repeat the actions of the teacher. For students in older groups, you can organize a master class on the topic of how to make sunflowers with your own hands, and reveal several ideas for creating unusual images.

A very bright and beautiful sunflower can be made from plasticine. In order to make sunflower petals, we will need to mix three colors of plasticine - yellow, brown and orange. Do not mix them into one mass. Let the veins of each color remain, then the sunflower petals will look very impressive.

Plasticine cake Brown decorate with small cuts - this is the middle of the sunflower.

Glue the petals to the center. We complement the craft with a green leaf. The plasticine sunflower is ready!

Sunflower drawing

When drawing its core, you can use various round-shaped objects at hand - even a cardboard roll from toilet paper or disposable paper towels. And if you bend this roll on both sides, you get a great stamp for drawing petals: just dip it in yellow paint and apply prints around the core. Look what a wonderful sunflower you can draw using this technique! We covered the center of the sunflower with glue and sprinkled it with real black pepper. The drawing turned out voluminous and very natural!

By depicting flower petals, you can also give freedom to your imagination. For example, you can draw petals using a toothbrush. If you make the core from a circle of black colored paper, the result will be quite simple, accessible even to children. younger age, But interesting craft.

Leaves on the stem can also be drawn in an unusual way. For example, original leaves are obtained from children's handprints made with green paint. You can use handprints to paint the flower itself using yellow paint.

Sunflower applique

This pattern will be decorated with sunflower seeds glued to the core. For working with the application there are also various techniques. For example, as a basis for creating a three-dimensional flower, you can take a disposable white paper plate. We glue a cardboard green stem and leaf to it, and inside we distribute yellow pointed petals in a circle. Pour the seeds into the center of the plate and you’re done! The kids will be happy to enjoy a treat from such a craft.

You can not just sprinkle the seeds, but glue them to the center of the flower. If you make its petals voluminous by bending each of them in half, you will get a spectacular applique.

Sunflower applique made from pieces of paper

You can make the entire flower voluminous using pieces of colored napkins or corrugated paper for packaging flowers or scrapbooking. We cut a napkin or paper into small squares, crumple each of them into a ball and paste it into a pre-drawn outline of a sunflower.

Like a mosaic, we lay out the entire pattern in lumps.

If you want to make the work a little more complicated, you can also line the center of the sunflower with pieces of paper. Color the bottom of the plate

Cut out oblong leaves from newspaper and paint them yellow. We decorate the brown center with black beads. Glue a green stem with a leaf.

Another option for making a sunflower is to make it in the form of a picture of buttons.

After watching the master class, the children will be able to choose for themselves which work technique they like best, and if they wish, they can combine several techniques in one craft. Having created such rich soil for creativity, educators will only have to organize a place in order to place the resulting fruits in the most advantageous way.

If you want to decorate your garden with a sunflower that will never wither, then watch this simple master class and create imperishable beauty with your own hands!

To make such a wonderful, sunny flower you will need:

  • two and one and a half liter plastic bottles (fifteen transparent, one brown and two green);
  • a radio engineering soldering iron with a thin tip, or as a substitute, a set of devices consisting of a gas burner, a long nail and pliers;
  • old kitchen or tailor's scissors;
  • a coil of thin copper wire;
  • tea saucer;
  • kit acrylic paints;
  • stationery knife;
  • drawing brush.

Progress

  1. Cut off the bottom and neck of a transparent bottle. Cut the remaining plastic cylinder lengthwise and unfold it into one rectangular sheet. Using the saucer as a template, cut a round blank from the middle of the bottle and make one radial cut into it.

  2. Warm up the soldering iron, or clamp the head of the nail with pliers and heat its end in the flame of a gas burner. Move the edges of the cut on the round piece so that they overlap, firmly clamp the joint and use a soldering iron tip (or nail) to pierce both PVC surfaces through. After 2-3 seconds, when the edges of the holes melt and weld together, remove the tip and check the strength of the connection. To securely fasten the edges of the cut, fix them in 2-3 more places.

  3. From the top parts of transparent plastic bottles, cut semi-finished sunflower corolla leaves. To make the petals have a beautifully curved shape, use for their manufacture that part of the plastic container where it begins to narrow sharply towards the neck. To do this, separate the bottom and screw neck from the bottle, and cut the remaining bowl-like blank into 6 segments, each 13-15 cm long. Use scissors to shape the segments into spiky petals with a wide middle and narrow base.

  4. Perform a similar operation with another 2-3 bottles, and in the end you will get 18 or 24 petals of the lower level, but the work on producing corolla leaves does not end there - in order for the sunflower to turn out lush and beautiful, it must be equipped with three rows of petals. Therefore, before you start assembling the flower, use the same technology to make semi-finished leaves of the 2nd and 3rd tiers (their length should be 11 and 7 cm, respectively).
  5. Having arranged the petal blanks by size, turn on the soldering iron and, when it warms up well, begin using it (in the manner described in the first paragraph of the instructions) to attach the leaves to the inner surface of the round cone-shaped core.
  6. First, form the first row of the corolla from the petals turned outward. To do this, attach the leaves to the outer edge of the core, placing them in a circle close to each other and fixing them in a given position with 2-4 touches of the soldering iron tip.

  7. Cover the finished row of petals with golden-yellow paint; when it dries, stick the second tier of leaves (this time already curved inward) onto the middle of the sunflower. Attach this row somewhat closer to the center of the workpiece - this way it will cover the mounting holes of the previous level.

  8. Having completed the formation of the second tier, paint it yellow, and similarly make the third row of petals.

  9. Using the same saucer, cut out two more plastic circles - one green and the other brown. Cut the green circle to the middle, fold it into a pound, put the resulting cone-shaped piece on back side whisk and fasten them together in 3-5 places with a soldering iron.

  10. From the upper part of the green vessel (the one with the neck), make the base of a sunflower - a receptacle with sepals. To do this, make 5 cuts on the sides of the bottle and sharpen the edges of the segments, giving them a triangular-convex shape.

  11. Place the receptacle on the underside of the corolla, and use a soldering iron tip to make two small punctures through both parts at equal distances from the center.
  12. Pull the wire through the holes, bring its ends to the back of the sunflower, tie them there with a tight knot and wrap the remaining excess around the screw part of the bottle neck.

  13. Turn the flower to face you, place a brown blank on its core and weld it to the edges of the cone with 3-4 touches of a soldering iron.
  14. To make it more realistic, cover the center of the sunflower with black paint, and on top of it, draw concentric rows of seeds with brown and dark yellow dots.
  15. Attach the flower to a stick and place it in your garden.

Dear Colleagues! I present to you a very simple and nice option By making sunflowers to decorate the hall for autumn and summer holidays, which can also be used as dance attributes.

Mater ial: - yellow garbage bags for 50 liters - 1 roll;

Round filters for black flower pots (can be replaced with thick black material, felt);

Sewing machine;

Black and yellow threads;

Scissors, ruler, pen, chalk.

Unrolling a roll of bags (as shown in the photo) and draw stripes 4.5 cm wide for sunflowers with centers with a diameter of 10 to 15 cm 26-28 pcs. two rows (13 - 14 pieces for each row) and 5.5 cm for sunflowers with centers with a diameter of 20 to 25 cm 32-34 pcs. two rows (16 - 17 pieces for each row).

Bottom of stripes (with blue stripe) cut to about 5 cm (we won't need this part). This is what we should get.

We unfold the blanks and fold them in half.

We tie the middle of the strip with a knot.

We fold "bow" doubled, hiding the knot under the petal as in the photo.

The front side of the petals will look like this:

We sew the finished petals of the first row to the middle - a filter (felt, slightly shirring the middle of the petal for volume (we use black threads).

Then we sew on the second row of petals, placing them between the petals of the first row.

Draw the middle of the flower with chalk.

Sew "zig-zag" yellow threads.

From the reverse side the flower looks aesthetically pleasing.

Advice: if there is a middle on the reverse side sunflower nevertheless, it is thick and difficult to sew on (this happens with flowers with a small center; you can cut out the ends of the petals in the middle, and cover the ugly cut out parts with the outer petals.

We straighten the petals and admire our sunflowers!

Folded flowers are convenient for storage: compact, take up minimal space, and if necessary they can even be washed. To create these five sunflowers It only took me two evenings!
