Summer is a time of inspiration. I decided to make a ladybug crawling on green grass. It turned out to be not difficult at all! We will make green grass out of paper using the quilling technique, and we will buy the ladybug itself at a craft store.

We will need:

  • work surface, it is better to use a cork board;
  • green paper strips for quilling, 2 mm wide;
  • PVA glue;
  • pins;
  • white sheet of paper.

You will need very long strips of 40cm *80cm, so glue 2-3 strips together before you start laying them around the pins. Pin a piece of paper onto the cork board and make marks at regular intervals, as in the photo below.

To create a transitional look, you can glue together two ribbons of light and dark colors. Then insert the first pin and secure the end of the ribbon. Screw onto the pin and secure with glue.

Then insert the second pin and make a turn.

Each subsequent turn returns to the first pin and is secured with a drop of PVA glue.

After each turn, add pins up and make turns around them.

The height of such a blank will determine the height of the grass bunch. After making the last turn, secure the end of the tape at the base.

Squeeze the spiral with your fingers and make it flat. Apply glue on top and hold for a minute or two until the glue dries.

You now have a blank for the grass.

Make enough of these parts for a clearing and connect them together by gluing their sides together. This is the grass you got.

Collect a small bunch of it and decorate the cover of a postcard or glue it into a frame and you will get a picture with a summer landscape.

And it's time for us to work!

    Ready for class.

Look at your desks to see if everything is ready for class.

II . Set up for motivation:

Today in class we continue to get acquainted with the technique of volumetric applique and quilling. We will create a composition in which an insect will sit on the grass, and to find out what kind of insect it is, you must solve my riddles, do you like solving riddles?

    I’ll tell you riddles, and you’ll give me answers in unison!

Guess what, guys?

What kind of beetle is in our garden bed?

Not a pest, dear beetle,

It is beneficial for plants.

Aphids quickly eat,

This saves plants.

What kind of black-headed beetle is it?

This is... (Ladybug!)

On a birch leaf

Someone red is sitting.

The back and wings are covered with black dots...

She froze, as if sleeping.

I sat and sat...

It soared up and flew away.

Cute little cheat

This... (ladybug.)

She flew from the sky to visit.

She sat on my mother’s flower.

Polka dot wings.

Six beautiful legs.

Black head...(Ladybug)

    introduction teacher

How beautiful is that moment on a fine summer day when an insect with red wings with black polka dots crawls across your palm, and you quietly whisper to it the words: “Ladybug, fly to the sky, there your children eat sweets, drink tea, they are waiting for you” and you you make your deepest wish and release it into the blue heights. We have seen this bug many times and often wondered: why is it called a ladybug, and even a ladybug (Slide 2).

Our ancestors believed that the ladybug lives in heaven and only from time to time descends from heaven in order to convey God’s will to man. There was also an opinion that the Gods feed on the milk of the ladybug, so in no case should this insect be killed. In ancient times, the word “godly” meant “harmless, meek, peaceful.” There is a sufficient number folk signs, associated with these insects and explaining why the ladybug is so called. Briefly, this can be combined in one concept: love - for God, the world, nature, neighbor. It is believed that the ladybug was previously called “ladyblood”, since the back of this insect resembles a drop of blood. And yet - why a cow? Yes, because the poisonous liquid that the bug secretes in case of danger was called “milk”.For a bird or lizard that wants to catch a bug, this “milk” will immediately kill its appetite: it is pungent and smells disgusting.

The ladybug itself feeds on aphids; per day, this baby destroys almost a hundred aphids or three hundred of their larvae. What brings great benefits to people in the fight against agricultural pests.

III . Fizminutka "Sun" (Slide 3).

The sun came out from behind a cloud,

We will stretch our arms to the sun. (Stretching - arms up.)

Hands to the sides then

We'll spread wider. (Stretching - arms to the sides.)

We've finished warming up.

Rest, arms, back.

IV . Practical work: Composition “Ladybug on a leaf”

    Reviewing safety rules when working with scissors and glue.

Before we get started, let’s remember the safety rules:

    Store scissors in the specified place and position, do not leave scissors with open blades.

    When working, carefully monitor the direction of cutting; do not work with dull scissors.

    Do not hold the scissors with the blade up and do not cut with scissors while moving.

    Pass the closed scissors rings forward.

    Handle the glue with care. Glue is poisonous! Do not let glue get on your fingers, face, especially eyes.

    After finishing work, be sure to wash your hands and hands.

    Performing the composition “Ladybug on a leaf”from strips of paper using quilling.

For work we will need: a sheet of cardboard, quilling paper 5 mm wide and 30 cm long in red and black, colored paper, a device for winding strips of paper, toothpicks, PVA glue, glue stick, scissors (Slide 4).

    1. Performing a bug. Presentation “Ladybug. Quilling."

Today in class we have to make a ladybug from strips of paper. For one bug you will need 4 red stripes and 2 black ones.The work sequence is as follows:

    Apply a drop of glue to the tip of a red quilling strip 5 mm wide and 30 cm long and glue a second strip to it, glue a third to the second, and a fourth to it, you get a very long strip. We twist this long strip on a quilling device or on a toothpick into a tight roll, and secure the end of the strip with a drop of glue.(Slide 5)

    Carefully bend the roll with your finger,You shouldn’t bend it too much, just make a small cup shape. Using a brush, coat the inside of the spiral with PVA glue (Slide 6).

    Let's prepare a thin strip that will separate the wings of the bug, to do this, cut a 2-3 cm long piece from the black quilling strip with scissors, cut a thin strip 1 mm wide from this piece and glue it onto the red roll (Slide 7).

    For the insect's head, we roll a black strip 5 mm wide and 25 cm long into a tight roll, giving it a convex shape (Slide 7).

    Use a hole punch to make several black and white circles. We will glue two white ones to the head, and black ones to the wings (Slide 8). If you don't have a hole punch, you can draw dots with a felt-tip pen.

    1. Execution of the leaflet. Presentation “Leaflet. Quilling"

    Let's look at the structure of a tree leaf. A tree leaf has: a leaf plate, which varies in shape among different trees, a petiole, a central vein, secondary veins extending from the central one (Slide 3).

    Sheet of printer paper Green colour bend it along the long side into a roll, on the last turn we coat the edge of the paper with a glue stick and glue it into a tube (Slide 4).

    Using scissors, we cut off individual fragments from the tube in the form of a basic “eye” shape in quilling, 5 mm wide (Slide 5).

    Cut out a leaf from green paper, using the template (Slide 5).

    Using PVA glue, we glue small fragments to the leaf in the form of the basic “eye” shape in quilling, completely filling the entire surface of the leaf (Slide 6).

    On cardboard blue color glue the resulting leaf (Slide 8).

    1. Final design of the composition.

    To finalize the composition, glue the ladybugs onto the leaf with PVA glue. When working, apply glue with a toothpick in small quantities, working carefully (Slide 9).

    We frame the composition.

V . Exercise to relax your eyes.

After 15 minutes practical work We do gymnastics for the eyes (Slide 7).

VI . Summary of the lesson.

Exhibition of creative works.

Thin strips of paper allow you to create a variety of crafts that turn out very elegant and beautiful. Some of them require a certain skill, and some crafts using the quilling technique can be done even by a beginner.

Our craft in the shape of a ladybug is quite simple, so almost anyone can handle it, following the proposed master class.

To create this craft, we will prepare the following materials:

- black and red stripes;

- PVA glue;

- scissors;

- quilling tool;

- a special line.

First, take one black strip of paper and cut it in half. Each one needs to be rolled into a tight roll. We secure the edges with PVA glue. These blanks will be the black dots on our ladybug.

Now we glue the red stripe to the black roll.

After that, we twist everything and place it in a ruler with a 25 mm separation.

We take it out of the ruler and fix the edges with a small drop of glue.

We perform another similar preparation. These will be the wings of our ladybug.

On the one hand, we give our workpiece a flat appearance. As a result, it should acquire a semicircular shape.

The wings for our insect are ready.

From another strip we cut off a small piece for the antennae. Fold the paper strip in half

We roll the remaining part of the black strip into a roll, and then place it in a ruler with a size of 15 mm.

We take it out and carefully fix the edge with PVA glue.

We give this black blank a semicircular shape. This will be the ladybug's head.

Now let's start assembling our craft. Glue the wings together. In this case, we apply glue only to the upper inner part.

Glue the head.

Curl your mustache.

Using glue, fix them at the top of the head.

The ladybug is the personification of luck and good news. Since childhood, everyone remembers that seeing a ladybug is a good omen, and this event usually causes delight and joy. Ladybug figurines can be made very easily with your own hands from paper. Such crafts are ideal for decorating a living corner in an apartment, as an accent on greeting card or a bouquet as a decorative element in a children's room. Thanks to the quilling style, you can create both voluminous and flatter ladybugs.

Due to the fact that this insect has an expressive color in the form of two colors, and the structure of its body is simple, to make a quilling ladybug you will need a minimum of materials and available tools. To work you will need:

  • white, red, black paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue;
  • brush;
  • item for winding strips.

If this is a picture and not three-dimensional bugs, then the background will require paper of other colors, at your discretion. The contrast of colors will look especially expressive: for example, ladybugs on green grass or on daisies, made in the quilling style.

Ladybug using quilling technique refers to simple applications, which even a child can easily handle. The process of making a paper product using the quilling technique occurs in stages. It’s better to start work by selecting a sketch. Sketch the chosen option on paper.

Preparation of materials for quilling: red and black paper should be cut into strips 25-50 cm long and 5-10 mm wide. Cut out circles from black and white paper. Following the instructions, connect and glue the parts.

By using detailed description process, ladybug can easily be used as quilling for beginners. It is very convenient to perform work using the quilling technique using the instructional video.

like this interesting idea, as in the photo, can be implemented by following the following sequence. For one bug you will need 4-10 strips of red paper and 2 black. Glue all the red strips together to make one long strip. Give time to dry thoroughly.

The resulting strip must be tightly wound onto a thin object, the end glued so that the paper roll does not unwind, and fixed until completely dry. When the glue sets, remove the tool that you used for screwing. You now have a large paper spiral.

The next step is to extrude the paper roll to the shape shown in the picture. To do this, gently press on the middle of the spiral. The body of the ladybug in quilling style is ready. Coat the inside of the resulting hemisphere with glue so that the shape is not lost.

Let the product dry. At this time, we are dealing with the question of how to make the head of an insect. To do this, we will use the same technique as for making the body of a ladybug, only we form a roll from black paper and 1 strip 25-30 cm long is enough. According to the scheme described above, we also make a hemisphere and glue it from the inside. After both parts have dried, you need to connect them - glue the head to the body.

The applique is almost finished - all that remains is to add the characteristic spots on the wings and “revive” the ladybug by gluing the eyes. For one craft you will need 8-10 circles of black paper, glue them in any order onto the wings. We finish the work by gluing 2 white circles on the head - eyes.

If you wish, you can add mustaches. To do this, bend 1 black strip in half and twist the ends. Glue them on top of the head.

Ladybug quilling is ready.

Visual video lesson

Master class “Flat ladybug”

Another option for a ladybug in the quilling style is gluing individual parts to the base. There is no need to look for patterns; the figure of this insect is so simple that it will be impossible to get confused. For an example of this quilling option, look at the photo in this master class.

The process of making such a cow can also be divided into stages. Roll 4 strips onto the paper rolling tool: 2 red and 2 black.

Each ring should be given the required shape. We leave the 1st black ring unchanged - this is the head. We press the second black ring on one side to form a droplet - this is the body. You need to make crescents out of both red rings - press them on both edges, these will be wings. We make the antennae in the same way as in the previous mk.

All that remains is to glue the parts together and secure them to the base. The final touch is gluing the spots on the wings. In this case, asterisks were used.

Ladybug in the style of cute spirals - quick and beautiful way handicrafts. The simple body structure of this little bug will make it easy to create a craft yourself, even without using step-by-step visual aids.
