Ladybug brooch drawing diagram. Making a brooch "Fantasy Ladybug"

You can weave a ladybug from beads using fishing line or wire. To work, you will need large beads of three colors: red, black and white (several pieces for the eyes). Instead of red, you can use yellow or orange beads and make not just one, but a whole bunch of cute bugs.

Beads are strung on brass or copper wire (0.3 mm cross-section), starting from the head. The body, legs and antennae are made by parallel weaving. The length of the wire is approximately 20-30 cm. You can take it shorter, but then it will be more difficult to manage. The pattern for weaving a bug is as follows.

The cut piece of wire is folded in half. One black bead is put on, after which the wire is twisted (the first tendril, the length is about 7 mm). Next, string 2 black beads for the muzzle and construct a second antennae similar to the first.

The second row of the weaving pattern is where the cow's eyes are placed. To do this, put 4 beads on one end of the wire, including white ones for the eyes. The second end is pulled across the entire row in the opposite direction. The following rows are created using a similar weaving pattern. In them it is necessary to alternate beads of different colors to form points on the wings.

The insect's legs are woven on the 4th, 6th and 8th row. 3 beads are put on one end of the wire, after which the same end of the wire is returned through 2 beads. One bead remains at the end of the foot. Similar manipulations are performed at the second end.

Collect the stretched body of the ladybug into beautiful shape can be done in the following way:

  • each end of the wire must be passed to the head behind the side zigzags,
  • pull the ends
  • hook the ends of the wire protruding from the head into the antennae,
  • twist the ends and hide them in the body.

You can make the body more convex using a ball of polymer clay or plasticine.

The pattern of weaving a cow on a fishing line is different from the wire version. Weaving begins from the end and ends on the head of the bug. To work you will need a fishing line with a thickness of 0.35 mm and beads various sizes. Weaving is also done in parallel with stringing beads and threading in the opposite direction.

The initial row is 2 beads, the second is 3, the subsequent ones are with an increase in the number of 1 bead on each side until the middle of the body and a corresponding decrease after that. The paws are made on 6 and 12 rows, respectively. The formation of a voluminous silhouette is carried out as we weave according to the pattern. On the 13th row there are woven antennae, and on the 15th row there are bulging eyes made of white and black beads. The diagram ends with the mouth of a bug.

Combined options

You can make a ladybug not only entirely from beads, but also by combining it, for example, with yarn. On crocheted The ladybug is strung with black beads, which will act as points on the body. You can completely eliminate the use of wire and fishing line from the ladybug’s body by creating it from plasticine or polystyrene foam and pasting it with beads of the desired color. In this way, larger specimens with painted backs are created.

I invite everyone to try making a ladybug.

Difficulty: above average
Working time: 6 hours

The work of making a bug is not very difficult, but it is painstaking and takes several hours. I usually make these bugs in several batches, so if you decide to take advantage of the master class, schedule yourself two to three days in advance, two to three hours every day. It is advisable to create with love, but we do not need tired eyes, a stiff neck and pain in the wrists. In addition, sometimes in the course of work new ideas for color scheme or the choice of certain beads. You can take this master class as a basis and use your own imagination to invent something new.

First, let's prepare the necessary materials and tools. This time I decided to make a gentle romantic bug-girl.

What we need:

1. Basis for embroidery. I used hard felt as a base.
2. Wire 0.5 mm. You can take the wire a little thinner or a little thicker. The main thing is that it is not too soft and keeps its shape.
3. A piece of cardboard.
4. Any tulle.
5. The lace is narrow.
6. Solders 3 and 4 mm.
7. Beads of various shapes and sizes at your discretion. I took Swarovski bicones 2.5, 3 and 4 mm, pearl beads 4 mm and a faceted Czech bead 4 mm for the nose.
8. Beads at your discretion. In our case, these are Toho sizes 11, 15 and 8, Miyuki Delica size 11 and Matsuno cut size 11.
9. Pins-studs for paws and antennae.
10. Base for brooch 2 cm.
11. Tools: needle; any bead thread; scissors; round nose pliers, pliers and pliers for decorating the paws.

So let's get started:

1. On a piece of felt, draw the outlines of the future body of the bug. The size of the bug is up to your taste. In our case, the length of the body is 5 cm (photo No. 2). I cut out the drawn figure in order to use it as a template and immediately traced it on the second piece of felt on which I plan to embroider. Then I traced it on cardboard and cut out a slightly smaller figure (about 2 mm). And finally, I traced it on the skin and cut out about 1 mm slightly larger than the outlined area (photo No. 0).

2. Since we want to get a voluminous body and head, we will prepare felt ovals different sizes for their subsequent beading.

We make the wings from wire, bending it so that it takes the desired shape (photo No. 3). The length of one side is about 5 cm.

Preparing beads and beads (photo No. 4). As I said, in the process of work, including imagination and insights, additional materials can be used.

3. We cover the base for the wings, wire, and tulle. I fold a piece of tulle in half, put the wings inside, and sew the tulle to them. At the same time, the thread wraps around the wire - the needle moves from bottom to top from the inside to the outside (photo No. 5).

When finished, carefully cut along the contour close to the wings so as not to touch the thread and so that the tulle does not begin to crumble (photo No. 6).

You can use another method to cover the wings with tulle.

4. Now we draw the outline of the wings. To do this, I string 6 size 15 beads onto a needle and sew around the outline of the wings in the same way as I sewed tulle (photo No. 7).

And after this I decorate the wing with sequins and beads. You can decide for yourself how to decorate. What I got - look at the photo below (photo No. 8 - 10).

5. Now we take our prepared base and sew lace along the contour of the body (photo No. 12).

6. After this, we sew on pieces of felt to add volume (I decided to sew on 4 ovals).

How do we design the body? We take pearl beads, size 8 beads, size 11 beads and cutting.

7. We do it as follows (again, you can come up with your own way): we sew the ovals in a circle with beads and large beads, on top of the lace (photos No. 15 and 16).

Then we sew the body in rows with beads and cutting, while looking as we go, how many beads need to be collected so that the thread with the collected beads lays beautifully on top of the ovals (No. 17). Between the pink beads we sew rows of small beads No. 15 (photo No. 18). Since the rows with cutting and beads can move a little, I grab them with a thread.

8. Now we sew the wings to the base, placing them above our resulting body.

9. Next we will design the head. We prepare size 11 Delica beads and size 15 Toho beads.

We sew pieces of felt in the place of the future head (photo No. 21), and decorate it with beads and beads in the same way as we decorated the body.

In photos No. 22 - 23 you can see that the white faceted bead in the center will be our nose, and in photo No. 24 you can see how the eyes are made (we collect sequins of size 4 mm, 3 mm, bead No. 15 and return through sequins 3 and 4 mm) .

10. The next step is making the legs and antennae (photos No. 25 - 27). We string size 15 beads and small 2.5 mm bicone beads onto the pins. In total we need 3 pairs of legs and 1 pair of antennae, each pair different lengths. I strung it this way (photo No. 25):

3 beads, bicone, bead (1st pair, these are antennae);

9 beads, bicone, bead (2nd pair);

11 beads, bicone, bead (3rd pair);

13 beads, bicone, bead (4th pair).

After stringing the beads, using round nose pliers and pliers, we make rings, cutting off the excess part of the pin with wire cutters (photo No. 26), and sew on the legs and antennae in the places where we think they should be (I first looked at a couple of photos of ladybugs on the Internet) , - photo No. 27.

Photo No. 28. We prepare our piece of leather by making holes in it and threading a clasp for the brooch. I decided that my ladybug It will be attached to clothes with the head down (this is how I wore it on the fur collar of a winter down jacket), and therefore the clasp is in my body area. It is important to consider how you intend to wear it and attach the clasp either above, below, or in the center of the leather base.

11. We are nearing completion. Our little bug girl will be ready soon!

Photo No. 29. Glue the prepared piece of cardboard to the felt, on top of the sewn paws (in order to hide possible relief due to the pins under the skin).

Glue the leather on top, see how tiny we have (Photos No. 30 and 31), and sew the edge, connecting felt and leather in your favorite way (I used the “American” method). The pin legs will be located between tightly spaced beads (photo No. 32).

After this, you can make teeth from three small beads No. 15, passing through the beads of the finished lining row (photo No. 32).

We bend the paws so that they look like real bug paws.

To prevent the wings from protruding, they can be grabbed in several places along the edge to the body.

All. Our romantic bug-girl is ready!

How to wear? The bug is not very heavy, but it is still unlikely to be worn on a thin blouse or dress - it will pull on the fabric. But on jackets, jackets, coats, on fur collars- it will look great. Can also be attached to a purse or backpack.

The golden version turned out to be the most popular; I have already made a couple of these bugs. Here is a photo:

Thank you all very much for your attention and enjoy your creativity!

Sincerely,
Inessa Dragan.

Master class on making “Ladybug” decoration

I suggest you get acquainted with the fascinating detailed master class embroidery and bead weaving of an extraordinary brooch. Let's start the creation from the wings. We prepare sketches of the wings and body of the cow, drawn on cardboard. We cut out and apply the prepared sketch of the wings to thin red felt and trace it with a pencil.

Wings

According to the prepared drawing, cut out the wings from red felt. Using jewelry glue, we glue petal-shaped crystals onto the workpiece, symmetrically placing it.

We embroider red around the glued crystals. Having secured the thread with several stitches, we string two pieces, move away to a distance equal to 2 beads and insert a needle there. Then we bring out the needle in front of the final one and enter it.

Again we string two pieces, skip the space by 2 elements and insert the needle. Then we exit before the last fragment and enter back.

Using this technique, we continue to embroider around the entire crystal. Having finished the embroidery, we bring the needle to the wrong side, make a stitch, wrap the fishing line around the needle several times and carefully tighten it.

Next, we embroider the spots on the wings with crystal black beads, two millimeters in size. We sew the beads in the shape of a triangle, calculating their covering.

Having sewn on the crystal beads, we embroider around them with red beads in the same way as we sewed the crystals before.

We embroider the second wing identically. We sew a black crystal bead in the center of the two wings and also embroider red beads around it, as in the bottom photo.

Having finished the embroidery process, glue the wings to a piece of leather substitute.

After the glue has dried, take scissors and carefully cut out the part.

Such a blank should be formed.

Next, we cut off one and a half meters of fishing line and pass the needle through the entire product, leaving a slight tail of about 7 cm.

Then we pass the two layers again, wrap the fishing line around the needle several times and tighten the knot.

We string 1 piece, and then move the needle past two layers.

We pass the needle through the bead from bottom to top and carefully tighten it.

Then we collect one bead again, move aside 2 mm, and pierce all the layers with a tip.

We guide the needle, stringing the bead from bottom to top.

In this way we decorate the rims of the wings until the end.

It turns out like this top piece brooches

Next, we sew a large crystal with holes for sewing to the lower part of the insect’s body.

The process of sewing on a crystal is simple - you can easily cope with this work.

Having finished fixing the crystal, we embroider in a circle using black beads using a technique already familiar to us.

Insect body

We embroider the body with beautiful arcuate lines. We embroider 6 rows in total.

Using a similar technique, we embroider the insect’s head with black glass and sew on two silver-colored pieces - these are the eyes of the sun.

Glue it to the body of the sun.

Gently press the adhesive elements with your fingers.

Cut along the contour with scissors.

Having cut out the part, we decorate the edges of the body in the same way as the edges of the wings.

You should get this neat back side of the work.

Mustache for a brooch

Next we will create insect antennae with you. For these purposes, we take a fishing line, two millimeters in size, fasten it to felt and insert it into the side bead. We string three beads, move the last one away, and insert a needle into the remaining two and remove it from the side bead.

Similarly, we form the second antennae of the insect.

DIY pin mount

Cut out a small circle from artificial leather.

Cut two holes for the pin.

We put a pin through the holes.

Using pliers, carefully press the pin clamps.

Glue the resulting blank to the brooch.

We have embroidered a unique decoration in the shape of a ladybug.

This exclusive beaded brooch will look great on anyone. women's clothing: on a dress, a coat, and a scarf. Having decorated your item with such a beautiful product, you will look unrivaled and will attract the admiring glances of people around you. Video master class “Ladybug Brooch”

Is there not enough luck in your life? Don’t despair and don’t run to the oriental goods store for a talisman! Have you heard the saying “We forge our own happiness with our own hands”? Don’t be alarmed, we won’t have to forge anything, just fill it out of wool. Among many peoples and beliefs, the ladybug is considered a symbol of happiness and good luck. The number of dots on her back has its own meaning. I propose to make a ladybug with seven dots, since this number means what we need - good luck.

Materials and tools:

wool (red and black), felting needles, sponge or felting mat, synthetic fluff, sewing thread, needle, scissors, pin, super glue, black half-beads (7 pieces).

Operating procedure:

We make a blank from synthetic fluff. We give the shapeless lump the outline of a ladybug. The back and head should be voluminous and round in shape, and the belly and lower part of the head should be flat (see photo).

When our workpiece is ready, take red wool and cover the back of the ladybug in several layers.

We make antennae from black wool, which we attach to the head with the free end of the wool. We also trim the head and belly with black wool.

We will make the dots on the back of the insect from black half-beads. They look more impressive than simply felted wool. To secure the half beads, make a depression in the place where the ladybug point will be, drop super glue into the middle and place the half bead there.

Having finished fastening the half-beads, we will attach the pin to the future brooch. Use black thread to sew a pin in the middle of the belly. We roll black wool on top of the threads so that the fastening is not visible. Trim any loose hairs of wool with scissors.

You can also add eyes to the white wool head or sew on beads. I decided to leave it like this, for some reason I liked it better without the eyes. Do it at your own discretion, it is a matter of taste and desire. The main thing about this brooch is the number of dots on the back.

Wear it with pleasure, and good luck will come with you!

This article will help you find the answer to the question of how to weave a ladybug from beads. Beading is ancient art, the basics of which every self-respecting housewife was obliged to know. After all, beads are not just a material, but an opportunity to transform things, create new images and create real miracles. You can make amazing crafts from it - accessories, earrings, bracelets, figurines, interior items, plants and insects. By the way, insects are not only small copies, but also ideal options for beautiful brooches. Let's look at several master classes for beginners on how to make such a cute cow.

Beauty from the simple

This insect can also be used as a keychain for keys or something else.

Let's take:

  • 5 g red beads;
  • 1 g black;
  • carabiner for keychain;
  • wire for beads 0.3 mm.

All necessary materials easy to find in any specialty store.

  1. Let's start with the torso. A diagram will help to make it easier. We alternate colors.

  1. We perform the right wing according to the picture.
  2. Then the left wing.
  3. Let's attach them to the body of our insect.
  4. Let's attach the carabiner for the keychain.

You can also use this diagram. The paws are drawn in detail here, which will help for beginners. For weaving, it is best to use dense copper wire, which will help keep the shape of the product.

Let's take a closer look at the product with antennae:

The insect will be large and voluminous. Try to pull the wire tightly, straightening it with your fingers and carefully straightening all the beads. In this way we create a convex back, because it will be quite difficult to do this at the final stage of work.

Let's start weaving

  1. We weave from bottom to top. Let's cut the wire, approximate length 40-45 cm. We begin to string it on it. First, one bead, fold the wire in half, weave another 9 beads. Try to do this towards each other, watch the diagram all the time so that it turns out smoothly.
  2. We string 1 bead on each end. Next, on one side we will add 3 more, weaving towards each other, not all the way through. We grab all the segments with 2 beads.
  3. Let's take the antennae. First, string one bead and fold it in half. Don't forget to leave 1 cm on the tendril, twist it into a spiral. Let's repeat the same steps with the second antennae. We pass all the ends through the outer beads, pull and straighten. Don’t forget to guide them towards each other, weaving them through the bottom row.

  1. Then we weave in exactly the same way until the end of the product. Don't forget to alternate colors to create a beautiful backdrop.
  2. Now you need to add 1 bead. We weave until there are 6 beads on all sides. We repeat the subsequent rows of beads without adding, then we begin to decrease them. There should be a total of 5 pieces left on the wire.
  3. Let's fasten it, pass it through the top rows, twist it, trim off the excess. And in the upper rows we will hide the ends.

We will have such a cow:

Don't forget to make legs so it can stand like a real insect.

Sunny girlfriends

A few more options for creating flying “beauties”. For example, a voluminous cow.

For work you always need fishing line or wire. And also large beads in colors such as red, black and white for the eyes. By the way, you can make several such girlfriends and gather a whole family. You can use yellow or orange beads on the back - it's all up to your imagination.

We string it on copper wire, diameter 0.3 mm. Let's start working from the head.

Counts easy weaving- parallel. Use this to create the body, antennae and paws according to the pattern. Adjust the length of the wire yourself, usually 20 or 30 cm.

  1. Fold a piece of wire in half. We put on one black one and twist the wire. Don't forget that the diameter of the antennae is 7 mm. Next, take 2 black beads and make another tendril.
  2. We start the second row with the eyes. We string 4 beads onto the end, as well as white ones for the eyes. Pull the other end through the row in the opposite direction. Follow the same pattern for subsequent rows. Alternate bead colors to create dots on the back.
  3. The paws are rows 4, 6 and 8. Place 3 beads on the end, pass through 2 beads. One bead will be at the end of the paw, we will repeat the same at the other end.
  4. We collect the body. To do this, we pass the ends to the head along the sides, pull the ends, catch the ends sticking out from the head and antennae, finish by twisting the ends, and hide them in the body.

You can place a ball of plasticine or polymer clay under the bottom of the backrest to create a convex product.
