First, a little background. I am already old enough, but I do not understand anything about cosmetics, I can easily get confused in the eyeshadows, I will never choose a good foundation, for me there is only mascara, shadows and blush. And if experimenting with style, fabrics and styles is always a joy and pleasure for me, then the choice of cosmetics, the selection of shades and textures, for example, shadows, is always a difficult task, and sometimes a pain.

And for a long time I have been trying to figure out cosmetics on my own and understand the nuances, I often watch the channels of beauty bloggers, but as I used only shadows, mascara and blush, I continue, as I chose the same brands, and I choose. Unfortunately, I cannot find the cosmetics that suit me. Everything that I buy is new, I don’t like everything, it adds age or makes the face heavier.

I have already told you about my "double" photo shoot, or rather that the first one failed due to improper makeup, for the second time my life brought me together with a talented woman makeup artist, who in 1.5 hours with the help of a minimal set of cosmetics turned my face , in the way I've always dreamed of. Everything was perfect: eyebrows, face tone, blush, shadows, nothing stood out and did not catch the eye.

Of course, I could not repeat this makeup at home, but I managed to make an appointment with a makeup artist to find out all the details.

Oksana, advise, what is the minimum set of cosmetics a woman should have in a cosmetic bag for daytime makeup?

A common problem for a woman if she works, gets tired and does not get enough sleep is bruises under her eyes. Therefore, I advise you to have a corrector that removes blue and fatigue under the eyes. It is advisable to choose a corrector with reflective properties, because when the sun hits the eyes, the eye becomes soothed, beautiful, pleasant, without bruises under it. The corrector is a lifesaver, you don't have to use it every day! But if you got up in the morning, and there is "trouble" under your eyes, then he will come to your aid. Apply from the inner corner of the eye to the outer corner with applicative or hammering movements.

Correctors are available in a tube with a silicone brush. Cost from 900 rubles. The corrector will also help you hide not only dark circles under the eyes, but also age spots, as well as visually reduce skin redness, hide an expanded capillary network.

The next product that a woman should have in her cosmetic bag is base for foundation. Often we apply a day cream, and then a foundation, this is not recommended, because if you have oily skin, the foundation rolls off, i.e. its vital activity is reduced. Better to apply foundation to the base.

If your face is red, then it is better to use a green base, and then foundation, so that the face is evened out so that the redness does not break through the foundation. If there are no special problems with the skin, then use a transparent base. A different color for the bases is green or purple only in the tube, on the face it completely adjusts to your color and hides imperfections. With the help of the base, we even out the tone of the face, the structure of the skin, and the ease of applying the foundation is provided to you. The base provides long-lasting makeup. If you choose a base with reflective particles, it will give the skin a radiance and shine. Be sure to consult the store. The cost is from 450-500 rubles.

If you choose a silicone-based base, it will hide all skin imperfections, make it smooth and silky, especially for older women. It easily fills in skin irregularities and deep pores.

Foundation creams

For daytime makeup, you need a foundation. It is better to choose a water-based foundation in summer, oil-based in winter. A thin, water-based foundation will apply smoother and will not weigh down your face or create a mask effect. Please note that the foundation should be enriched with moisturizing ingredients and, if it is summer, then with sun protection. The foundation will act as a day cream.

It is better to apply with a beauty blender.

A beauty blender is the best thing that our humanity has come up with for applying foundation. It is not difficult for them to learn how to work, it is easier than with a brush or even a finger. They can easily adjust the density of the foundation. The beauty blender needs to be wetted, the wetter and wetter, the thinner, the drier, the denser. Once you get to know this super egg, you will never part with it. It is very convenient to use them under the eyes and near the wings of the nose.

Powder

You will also need a translucent powder to bond the base and foundation, so you have an even makeup that won't drip.

It is better not to use a foundation every day; powder can become a substitute.

To have a beautiful, even noble makeup, you don't have to understand a bunch of colors. It is impossible to understand them. Better to choose beige, nude shades, they suit everyone. There are satin, and there are matte shadows. Better to choose matte, they are suitable for every day. It is better to choose satin shadows for the evening. Blush In short, peach blush suits everyone. To apply blush, you need to smile well and apply blush on the formed apple.

It is better to go to a professional so that a professional will model the correct eyebrows for you, otherwise some of these worms are plucked for themselves. It is better not to save on eyebrows, unkempt eyebrows will ruin any, even the most beautiful makeup.

To care for your eyebrows, you need to have a comb, a pencil, with which you can neatly correct the "holes". Not everyone has perfect eyebrows, somewhere thick, but somewhere empty.

Or eyebrow shadow. For those who do not know how to use a pencil, it is much easier to use eyebrow shadows.

The company "Eva Mosaic" has the best eyebrow pencils "Eva Mosaic Ideal Brow" and cost 200 rubles, of course you can buy a pencil for 1800 rubles, but what's the point? Very good quality, but not always on sale. The shade "Pansies" suits everyone, there is no such shade in other companies, and the powdery texture is easy to apply and lasts throughout the day.
