How to remove a tattoo?

Today we'll talk about how to get rid of a tattoo. Before removing, you need to check with the master what dye he used during the procedure. For example, mascara penetrates very deeply into the skin, but if it is a burnt rubber pigment, the depth is minimal. With this information, the doctor can choose the best way to heal wounds after tattoo removal, which can be very painful. Much depends on the age of the person, for example, in adults, the rate of skin recovery is low, so it is undesirable to remove a tattoo. But this can be done if the removal is carried out over several procedures in different ways. What are the most popular methods now? First of all, laser removal.

    Using a laser

The best way to remove a pattern from the skin was created in 2004, and it has significant differences from other methods. All this is because the specialists were able to create a laser that does not remove the entire layer of the skin, but affects only those areas that have been treated with paint. After the procedure, the paint evaporates, but some of it is crushed and after a certain period of time it leaves the body on its own. This procedure is referred to as the selective photocavitation method. But it is unnecessary to think that you will make an appointment with the surgeon once, pay the money and the tattoo will disappear once and for all. There are neglected cases when a tattoo is removed within a year, at first its color changes and becomes unexpressed, and then it gradually becomes less noticeable. After several procedures, the tattoo will disappear, however, no one can say exactly how long it will take.

    Home methods

It is not recommended to remove a tattoo at home, you can still get an infection or severely injure the skin, and then take a long time to restore it. You won't be able to get rid of the tattoo at one time, you need several procedures to discolor it.

Tattoo removal is carried out in several stages:

    1. Wash the skin at the tattoo site and if there is any. Use a mild soap to keep it from drying out your skin.
    2. Take regular salt, but you can use sea salt - it is more effective, but also much more painful.
    3. Pour 50 grams of salt into a glass.
    4. Add warm water to a glass to dissolve completely. You can stir the salt to speed up dissolution.
    5. Then take out a soft sponge and dip it in a glass of water.
    6. Then take out the sponge and start rubbing the skin on the tattoo with all your might for about half an hour. Of course, this is very long, but effective.
    7. Eventually, the salt on the tattoo will dry out, hold it for a little while and rinse it off with lukewarm water. You will notice that the tattoo has lost its expressiveness.
    8. Bandage the affected area with a bandage to prevent infection.
    9. Repeat all steps after three days. It takes two or three months to completely get rid of a tattoo.

What methods are used in Russia and Ukraine?

In these countries, you can remove a tattoo using mechanical and surgical methods, and it is possible to do this in many clinics, however, you may be refused due to restrictions. First, they will consult and find out important points, for example, at what age the tattoo was made and how many years have passed. The place where the tattoo was placed plays a huge role, since the skin does not have the same thickness everywhere. In addition, it all depends on the size of the tattoo, if it is very large, for example, it takes up the entire back, you will have to carry out a lot of procedures, or the specialist will simply refuse you.

A tattoo can be removed in different ways, a cutter is very often used. With its help, the layer of skin in place of the drawing is erased to get rid of the paint. Unfortunately, this method is unsafe due to the fact that in any case, a scar will remain, which will look like a tattoo. Sometimes he completely copies the image of the tattoo.

Another method is more preferable, but it also costs more. The tattoo will be removed with a laser or electricity. The image is exposed to high temperature, which is safe for a person, then the tattoo begins to blur or fade. With intense exposure to the skin, it burns out strongly, and the affected area is covered with a bandage so as not to infect the skin. But the problem here is that then there will be a scar resembling a burn, you cannot walk in the sun for several days, otherwise a pigment spot will remain for life.

Good luck! If you have any questions, ask them in the comments!
