In my opinion, very interesting candles, similar to mushroom caps. Of course, they will not burn for a long time, but they will be able to create an atmosphere at the right time. Making them is easy:

  1. It is necessary to collect acorns and separate hats from them.
  2. Then cut the wicks of the desired size and melt the paraffin (you can wax or any other composition for candles).
  3. Then just put the wicks and fill them with liquid paraffin. When the paraffin hardens, you will get very original candles.
"Autumn" candlesticks can be very different. Uncomplicated but cute:

Try not to let natural materials come into contact with fire, otherwise the whole decoration will burn. Especially if these are spruce branches, as in the photo above.

Autumn candlestick from a jar

We will need:

  • glass transparent jar,
  • bottle brush,
  • wide adhesive tape
  • acetone based nail polish remover
  • glass paint,
  • small plastic bowl
  • wide brush or sponge
  • parchment,
  • grain or cereal.

Instruction

1. Wash the glass jar thoroughly with a brush and leave to dry.
2. Cut out the silhouette of an autumn leaf from a wide adhesive tape, carefully glue it to the back of the jar.
3. In a plastic bowl, mix 5 ml. paints for glass (can be bought at any hardware store) and 1.2 ml. acetone. Stir the mixture with a brush or sponge.

When the paint on glass dries, its shade will be lighter than at the beginning. Increase the amount of thinner to paint the glass the desired color.

4. Cover the jar in several layers with the resulting solution of paint and acetone.

If the paint doesn't want to lay flat, then you've used too much acetone. Add a little more paint and reapply.

5. Once you've painted the outside of the jar, turn it upside down on parchment paper and leave to dry overnight.

Excess paint from the can will drip onto the paper, so don't skimp on the parchment so you don't end up with paint puddles on the furniture.

6. When the paint on the can is dry, carefully peel off the adhesive tape from the surface of the can.
7. Pour any grain or cereal into the resulting candlestick to the level of a leaf and place a candle inside.
8. The neck of the candlestick can be tied with a ribbon or sisal rope.
