Lamb pillow crochet diagram and description. Lamb - pillow

 New Year is an excellent occasion to create such a wonderful thing as a crocheted pillow-sheep lamb with your own hands, a master class will help you do this, even if you have been doing needlework for a very long time. The craft combines two functions - a toy and a pillow for a child. In addition, the baby will certainly be very interested in trying for himself how the lamb turns into a pillow, so even for the smallest such a product will become a wonderful developing toy.

Analogs with such an idea are sold in almost all children's stores, but undoubtedly the toy made by mom will be appreciated more. Therefore, stock up on several hours of free time and knit with us.

To get started, go through the list of necessary items and think about what you need to buy and what to find at home.

Crocheted lamb pillow - the symbol of 2015 is made from such materials

- yarn beige grass - 50 grams;
 - pink acrylic yarn - 20 grams;
 - eyes ready for needlework;
 - a piece of fabric 25 by 25 centimeters;
 - a little black yarn for the face;
 - dense thread for stitching parts;
 - hot glue gun;
 - filler for a toy (synthetic winterizer, paralon or another).

We figured it out. We will start making crochet pillows with a do-it-yourself crochet pillow with small parts.

Crochet Lamb Head

We dial 6 sbn into the amigurumi loop and close the ring. The second row we knit two single crochet in each loop, thus doubling the number of loops, now there are 12. We knit the next row, alternating 1 sbn into a loop and 2 sbn into a loop, we get 18 loops. By analogy, we knit the following rows, making an increase in each row through the number of loops, which is 1 order more than in the previous one. We knit this until there are 30 loops in the row, that is, 2 more rows.

By the way, here is another version of the 2015 New Year crafts - - a wonderful toy for a child and home decoration.

The next 5 rows are knitted simply with ordinary single crochet, without reducing or adding loops. But then we begin to reduce the loops in the rows in the same way as they added until there were 18 loops in the row.

Now is the time to fill the product. This should be done tightly so that the head of the lamb pillow - the symbol of 2015 was without failures.

 Now we knit 3 more rows of sbn and change the thread to weed. Knitting with grass is better with another crochet, thicker than acrylic. We knit 4 rows with single crochet and fill this part of the product.

 Then we reduce the loop until the hole is completely closed.

Crocheted Sheep Paws

All four paws will knit the same, but for fun, you can add yarn of a different tone of pink color to the two paws.

1 row: 6 sb in the amigurumi loop
 2 row: increments in each loop
 3 row: increase in every second loop
 4 row: increase in every third loop.
 We get 24 loops.
 5-10 row: we knit in single crochet.
 11 row: we reduce every third loop. There are 18 loops left.
 We knit 2 more rows of sbn.

The body of the lamb pillow for the New Year 2015

Actually the body itself consists of 3 things: knitted fabric, filler and fabric.

We knit the fabric like this: we collect 30 air loops and then we knit with double crochet, turning the knitting after each row, as many rows as we consider necessary. In our case, the width of the lamb is 23 centimeters, this is 18 rows.

 It is advisable to take the filler in a whole piece so that it does not crumple later inside the toy. It can be ordinary thin foam rubber or synthetic winterizer, as in our case. Take a very thick piece only if it bends well, and if not, it is better to thin.

 A piece of fabric can be cut from any diaper, as we did. And you can make it from felt or something else that can be found at home. But do not use the atlas, since needle stitches will be clearly visible on it - we have nothing to do with it.

First, do not forget to make the stitches in the area of the legs from the usual air loops.

 Next, the most crucial moment - we sew all the details of the pillow-lamb, crocheted, needle and dense thread, it is good to use iris.

 For the head we need to tie the ears. We knit them like this: we collect 15 loops and we knit them on both sides in a circle with double crochet, and the second row of single crochet, expanding the knitting.

 Sew ears, make a muzzle, glue eyes.

 Next, gently sew the head to the pillow in its rightful place.

 So the crocheted pillow-lamb is ready to be crocheted with your own hands, the workshop was prepared by Julianna Welner.
 And also we offer you to make one more interesting accessory with your own hands -

I wanted to connect, create something interesting and at the same time useful. And I came up with such a pillow-toy with long legs, a “wing” head, a charming smile and kind eyes.

I previously bought yarn “grass” with blue-white color (two skeins) for knitting a fluffy body in the form of a pillow and yarn for the muzzle and legs - light brown in color, cotton (one skein).

I crocheted the body of a sheep No. 5, but I added cotton iris to the yarn “grass”, otherwise the loops were not visible at all, and knitting was unbearably slow.

But even taking into account knitting in two threads, knitting the pillow itself proved to be painstaking and monotonous work. Somewhere a week it took me to knit a fabric 27 cm wide, 56 cm long.

I folded the canvas in half inside out and tied the iris with white cotton thread around the perimeter of the columns, leaving 10 cm unstitched. Then I turned out the canvas, stuffed it with stuff for toys (it took a lot by the way), and sewed the pillow in a blind stitch using a needle. The thread fastened and hid.

I knitted the muzzle of a sheep for quite some time too. Used hook number 2.

Sometimes I had to dissolve and knit all over again, when I realized that the form did not suit me.

I used the same grass yarn for the “hairstyle” of the byash, but without the addition of cotton thread, I used the hook number 3,5. She tied a semicircle of a suitable size, and then turned out the very fluffy side and sewn to the muzzle.

Then I proceeded to design the muzzle, embroidered a charming smile with a black thread,

sewed pre-bound blue eyes, and “drew” breathtaking cilia :-)

The legs for the lamb contacted simply in one breath, because I was already eager to see this little animal, so to speak, “whole” :-) The length of the legs is 20 cm each.

It looks so funny sheep in the composition = head + legs (without body)

And then they determined exactly where to sew the head ... for example like this, from above

Then the legs nevertheless were sewn around the edges, and still experimented ...

Well, as a result, they nevertheless sewn their heads “in place” :-)

Assembly of parts and design:

To start, I sewed the legs along the edges of the pillow.

Sew on the ears to the muzzle.

Well and most importantly - we sew the muzzle to the pillow, choosing the position of the head that you like the most relative to the body. I sewed a muzzle in such a way that if you put the pillow upright, then the head turns down and the sheep looks at us!

The length of the toy pillow was 38 cm (excluding the length of the legs).

Rejoice yourself and your loved ones!

 We collect 45-50 loops and knit with the front stitch (front rows - all front loops + hem, wrong rows - all the back loops + hem) rectangle for how much yarn is enough (as I knit, I will definitely write the sizes). You can try crocheting with crocheted columns, but then one skein is not enough and you will need to sew a pillowcase for stuffing.
 For the body, I scored 48 loops (with hem), the width is 32 cm.

 The canvas I got was 32 * 38 cm in size

All details are ready, now we proceed to assembly.

The legs are loosely stuffed with filler, so that later it is easier to make a tightening. We fold the canvas with the front side inwards. I start stitching from the corner and immediately sew in the legs. First I sew the sides with legs, and then I sew the back, do not forget about the tail. We leave the part unstitched and fill it with synthpuff or some other stuffing. The girls in the comments suggested inserting a pillow, I think this is a great idea, you just have to adjust the size of the canvas to the size of the pillow. Sew the remaining hole. It turns out here is a rectangle with legs and a tail.

Now more than ever, knitting all kinds of different lambs and lambs is relevant, because the symbol of the next New Year is a sheep. We bring to your attention a master class of pillows in the form of a lamb.

Tied up! We tighten the hole, hide the thread.

Knitting with grass-type yarn is rather capricious, you have to keep an eye on the number of loops sooo carefully. Be sure to mark the beginning of the row and periodically recount the number of loops.

Add a little filler to the hoof. Do not fill the rest of the paw. Attach a beige thread
9-48 rows: We knit 40 rows of 8 sc (8)

We measure and cut the thread 20-25 cm long for sewing paws to the body.

The length of one paw was approximately 18 cm.

Design and assembly of parts.

We insert eyes with a secure mount. We connect the fleecy and smooth parts of the head and sew, not forgetting to stuff with a filler for toys.

The length of the head was 11 cm. The eyes can also be tied if desired, as I did, for example, when knitting the first Lamb pillow.

A black thread (iris) embroider the line of the mouth and nose. Optionally, you can "draw" eyebrows and eyelashes. I didn’t do it.

We fold the ears in half, giving them the desired shape, and sew to the head.

Sew paws to the body-pillow on four sides.

Well, and the final touch, we sew the head to the torso-pillow.
