Are you still throwing empty reels from the tape? Do not do that! Now I will show and tell you how to turn garbage into the right thing.
  So what do we need to create our masterpiece besides an empty coil?
  - mat, knife, scissors;
  - pencil, glue, acrylic paint;
  - cardboard for the lid and bottom (I took a dense corrugated cardboard for the bottom, and millimeter for the lid);
  - ribbon ribbon for securing the cover (small segment);
  - paper, distress ink and decorations according to your idea.

Initially, I planned to do it a little differently, so I photographed the jeans inks, but I did not need them in the process.
  To create this box, I chose this paper. The one with the polka dots will be inside. With a pattern - outside.

1. Put the reel in order, cut off all the excess. We cut 2 circles out of cardboard, just circle the cylinder, one for the lid and the other for the bottom of our future box. The circle for the lid is sanded so that it becomes more even. For the bottom do not touch.

2. Color the end face of the coil on one side and the sides of the cardboard for the lid. I do this with a sponge with undiluted paint. What for? To later protruding parts looked more aesthetically pleasing.

3. From scrap paper, cut in the same way 2 circles for the bottom and 2 for the cover. Glue one of the paper circles with a cardboard bottom. I used Artugolk glue for this. At first it gets wet and looks ugly, but when it dries, everything straightens out.

4. Let's go through the sandpaper on the bottom, overwriting all the bumps.

5. Cut the strip to fix the bottom. I took kraft paper. Stripes 2 * 6 cm (approximately), pieces 5-6. In general, you can put glue on it, but it seems to me that it will be more reliable.

6. And so we glue them.

7. Decorate the circle, which will be the outer bottom. Glue it to the bottom cardboard, skim, tint with distress ink (I did it in that order).

8. Then we need to cut 2 strips - one for the inside and the other for the outside. I am very lazy! Therefore, I do this: mark on the reel with a pencil - and just roll on paper. On the reverse side I note, adding another 1 cm for gluing. And this will be the outer strip.

9. Insert it inside and note how long the inside will be.

10. And now tinted stripes. And prepare a ribbon for attaching the cover. I have one.

11. Glue the ribbon-rope inside. As you can see, I took it more authentic, as usual, for reliability. Glue on a moment-crystal.

12. We paste it inside, then again, we edge the skin, we tint. Do not forget only that you need to use sandpaper when the paper dries. Wet paper from glue may tear!

13. Now - outside. It is better if you put glue on a reel, but not on paper. Gently, like wallpaper, wiping with a cloth, sequentially.

14. We glue the other tip of the ribbon, we just put the ribbon on the front part, it will be easier to decorate. Again, leave the tail more authentic.

15. On the inside of the lid - a paper circle, skins and tinted again. We make out this side of the lid now, if there is such an idea. I just put a stamp.

16. And now we will do item 15, but only with the outer part of the lid - and now, the base for the box is ready!

And then the fun begins! Decorate your casket, as your fantasy tells you! Add what the soul desires - and all together we will admire the resulting masterpiece!

  We circle the bobbin on a sheet of green paper and cut out a circle. We circle the reel on cardboard and cut out the "sun".

With a manicure tool or a non-writing pen, draw along the contour. Now it’s easy to bend every “ray”.

Glue double-sided tape strips from one edge inside the reel and from the opposite edge from the outside. Cut a green sheet of paper into strips 1 cm wide. Remove the protective paper from the tape one at a time and stick the paper strips lap. Glue butt inside the bobbin with the edge of the bobbin. Next, bend the strip and stick to the outside.

Stick double-sided tape on the bottom of the bobbin, try the “sun” made of cardboard with a green circle on the bobbin. Then, in turn, remove the protective paper from the adhesive tape and glue the bottom.

   Glue a 1.5 cm wide strip on top of the bobbin. Glue double-sided tape on the bottom.

With a strip of cardboard 1.5 cm wide, we wrap the basket and fix it in size. Turn the basket over and circle it on cardboard, make the “sun”. Next, glue it on a double-sided tape to the strip.

Glue a circle of green paper on top. For the handle, take a strip of soft plastic or cardboard. Stick tape on one side and carefully wrap strips of palm leaves. Stick the handle to the cover. Boka paste on tape with strips of palm leaves. Fix the ends with a thermal gun.

1) Remove the protective paper from the tape and glue artificial grass. We take a strip of palm leaf and randomly wrap the grass, fix it. We fasten the ends with a thermal gun or tie a bow.

First you need to glue the desired number of bobbins along the edge.

It is important to take reels of the same manufacturer. The height (width) of the bobbin does not matter, but the thickness of the cardboard cylinder itself often varies among different manufacturers.

When gluing, you need to carefully align and align the edges of the reels with your fingers - during operation they are often deformed.

Now you need to cut and glue the bottom of the box and lid.

At the base, I first decided to try to insert the bottom inside, as many craftswomen advise. Strongly did not like it! It’s much easier and more accurate if you put the bottom up, as I always do.

After gluing, it is necessary to sand off the edge.

Since a light relief is formed at the place of gluing, I recommend that you first glue the box over with cardboard and only then pull the fabric over it.

You can do it in another way, like in cardboard: stick the fabric on the cardboard, bending one allowance on the short side and glue this sandwich on the box. But it seems to me that the first way is easier. Including because when tightening it is important to pull the fabric with an effort so that the allowances on the inside do not bubble.

Now you need to make incisions in the allowance, not reaching the edge of a couple of millimeters. Turn the petals one at a time, pulling and pressing.Glue corners.

If the fabric is stretched with effort, then the internal allowance lies clean even if the fabric is not stretch.

To maintain the same edge thickness, we also wrap the lid with cardboard first. If cardboard is glued to the fabric, then again with an effort so that the workpiece takes on a semicircular shape.

When sticking, it is important to coat the edge of the bobbin with glue and press it down first.

It would be possible not to fool with this double fabric upheaval (that is, when the inner skin is one-piece with the outer one). But then we risk that the lid will not fit on the jar. Therefore, we puff and gently tuck the fabric, smoothing the folds and neatly laying out the allowances (which we cut, as usual, and glue them carefully).

We glue the circle with a cloth and close the bottom from the outside.
