DIY bogatyr costume for a boy. We make a simple hero costume with our own hands

Many guys like the image of the Russian hero. If you want to please your boy, you can make this suit for the matinee with your own hands. The main attributes of the costume are a helmet, a sword, and boots.

We offer you step-by-step instructions on how to create a Russian warrior costume with your own hands.

The basis of the suit

First you need to study the photos and illustrations with the characters, as well as look into the wardrobe. Maybe there are things that can be suitable for creating a fancy dress. The main elements of the outfit are a loose-fitting shirt and pants.

Shirt

For this we you will need a shirt with a stand-up collar or an ordinary shirt from which you need to cut off the collar.

Thereafter sews hem around collar and armhole... You can buy it at any craft store. We sew the cuffs on the sleeves with the same tape.

Pants

Pants for a fairytale character must be solid... So you can not sew special trousers, but use those that you already have.

REFERENCE. Even trousers from a school uniform can be a suitable option for costume pants for a hero.

Cape (cloak)

For making a cape need a rectangular piece of red material... An excellent option for a cape would be satin or silk.

You can decorate the raincoat with a silver ribbon, which must be sewn over the entire surface of the product.

On one side, the cape is gathered on an elastic bandas you guessed it will be the top. We make two ties on both sides so that the child can tie the raincoat.

You can also depict the emblem of a fairy-tale character on the back - embroider with threads or draw with paints.

IMPORTANT! The first option will take more time. If you need a suit urgently, paint the logo with acrylics.

Important details of the heroic image

Having prepared the basis, we move on to the details that will help create a "heroic" image.

Helmet

Our fairytale hero cannot do without a helmet. You can build it from the material at hand.

For this we need:

  • plastic bottle;
  • large plastic glass;
  • silver paint;
  • scotch;
  • scissors.

To start cut out the base from the plastic bottle.

A cone is made from a glass. The bottom is cut and the workpiece is cut in a vertical line. From it we form a cone and attach it to our blank from the bubble. For this we need double-sided tape.

So the helmet is ready, let's move on to creating the remaining attributes for the hero.

Boots

First you need to take a measurement from the baby's leg and make a pattern. We transfer the drawing to the material.

IMPORTANT! Keep in mind that a seam allowance of at least 1 cm must be made.

The sole can be made from a carpet or a piece of linoleum.

  • We cut out all the details of the boots and iron them. After that we add a sealant to each element of the boot, for example, a synthetic winterizer, so that the shoes keep their shape.
  • We fold the details with the front side and cut off all the seams. After that, we try on the child's leg.
  • Next, we pin the fabric base to the sole with pins. We begin to sew on the sole with our hands, because the sewing machine will not sew such a dense material as linoleum.

Boots for our hero are ready.

Sword or spear

If you already have a ready-made sword and spear for a child, then you can safely take it for a matinee. But if this is not the case, then it can simply be made from cardboard and paper.

ATTENTION! The sword and spear must first of all be safe for the baby and his environment.

It is necessary to print a sketch of the blank, transfer it to cardboard. It is advisable to make several blanks that stick together. This is necessary to make the product stronger.

We repaint the finished blanks in silver color. The handle of the sword can be decorated with foil or wrapped with strong threads. In addition, you can apply a pattern to the finished product.

Shield

Make the shield in the form of a circle. Also repaint in a silver shade and decorate with foil. You can also apply the coat of arms of the fairytale character. Sew an elastic band on the inside so that the kid can hold the sword in his hands.

When making a carnival costume, give free rein to your imagination and ingenuity. You can make an outfit literally from ordinary things that, it would seem, are completely not intended for this. But remember that you shouldn't use a lot of accessories. Stick to a strictly masculine look when creating a hero's outfit.

    I made such a knight costume, sometimes I have to help my brother. He plays in the theater. This is not my first costume, but one of the simplest.

    It is not difficult to make such a suit. You will need - such a gray fabric as in the photo, an ax (either buy in children's toys or cut out of wood), a large black T-shirt and a coat of arms.

    I had to sew the suit myself. I bought this fabric, made the markings, cut it out and sewed it. It turned out to be such a suit. The hatchet was. I printed the coat of arms in the copy center and just glued it to the shirt.

    So this costume has turned out.

    For the New Year, a boy can sew a very original costume of a hero or a knight.

    For the first option, you need to sew a linen shirt and linen pants. Then, from yarn of silver metallic color, knit chain mail, as well as a protective mesh for the helmet. Be sure not to forget to sew a red raincoat and red boots (either from satin, or from lining). For the helmet, make a cardboard pattern and cover it with gold wrapping paper. To decorate the costume and give the hero a courageous look, a purchased set of sword and shield is suitable.

    Second option. For such a New Year's costume, a canvas shirt and pants are also selected or sewn. And the chain mail is made of thick silvery cardboard (we used tetra packets made of juice - they are cut in the form of strips, one side is straight, the other in the form of half rings, and the whole chain mail is assembled in this way). The helmet is also made of a solid silvery tetrapack and fixed to each other with wide tape.

    And of course a red cloak and red boots are required, as well as a sword!

    Happy New Year!

    I knitted a hero's costume and sewed a scarlet cloak. With threads for knitting I got a little confused. I could not find steel-colored threads with lurex. I bought a silvery fabric that does not crumble, cut it into thin strips, cut it as if in a circle so that it came out continuously without knots. I also had to get confused with silver threads. It was somehow too expensive, because they are sold mainly in small spools. Again I bought a silver fabric that can be dissolved, so it turned out cheaper and the skein is weighty. Then, in two threads, I knitted an elongated sleeveless jacket with a pattern of chain mail with knitting needles, it is easier (also used) to crochet a mesh (double crochet, 2 air loops.). The helmet was knitted with hooks like a simple hat, but in front, where she wears, she made a small triangle. And above, at the top of the head, I made a dive. I sewed a piece of silver fabric (which I let loose for threads), embroidered rays. I painted the top with nail polish with large sparkles. I bought a braid for the raincoat, communicated, inserted it into the buckle. I sewed cotton to the raincoat and sleeveless jacket so that the raincoat was stationary and did not dangle back and forth on the neck. I am attaching a photo of what happened)

    Sewing a New Year's costume for a boy with your own hands is not so difficult if you know how to sew. But the hero's costume contains enough small details. Firstly, it is a helmet, sword, chain mail. The most difficult thing is to choose the material for the chain mail. In the version that I want to offer you, the chain mail and the helmet are sewn from one simple fabric with round sequins. You will also need gold cloth and gold mesh. Look at how beautiful and complex the hero's costume is, but if you divide it into parts, everything is simple and elementary:

    The hat is sewn according to this pattern or similar. It needs gold fabric, fabric with sequins and a lining for the hat, you can use a thin padding polyester.

    The next stage is the Russian folk shirt - the kosovorotka. There are many schemes on the Internet. The main thing is that it should contain red braid and be stylized as Russia.

    The chain mail is sewn with a rectangle. The edges are your pre-made braid of gold and glitter fabric.

    Trousers and leggings are also not difficult to sew, there would be a desire. And of course you have to buy a sword.

    The costume looks very cool and will not leave anyone indifferent. I wish you creative success.

    As a rule, the costume of a Russian hero consists of a folk shirt, cloak, pants and boots. The costumes can be supplemented with accessories: sword or shield, mace.

    The shirt can be cut out using the simplest pattern:

    Make the neckline loose, trim it and the sleeves with braid, add a belt to the shirt.

    For a raincoat, take a flap of contrasting fabric, trim it along the edges with a bias tape, add a brooch to secure the raincoat on the shoulders.

    As for the pants and boots, you can not sew them on purpose, but use any available ones that match the color.

    One or two evenings, and the costume of the Russian national hero is ready!

    Making the suit soft is easy enough, basic sewing skills are enough.

    We need straight pants and a long-sleeved T-shirt, as it is correctly called there. From some plain fabric. It is very easy to sew them.

    Then go to the store do it yourself and buy sheet foil isolon there. See the thickness for yourself, 0.5 will be too easy to bend, 1 cm may be inconvenient, especially for a baby, but it will definitely create the impression of armor. If you find an isolon, you will have to go to the tourist-hunting and take a metallized mat (tourist rug) there, but it is more expensive. Cut large plates from isolon. The trousers will go to the hips, the shins (close on the inside), you can make the knees separately. On the top - the chest, back (you can do it in one piece with a neck, it's even better), plus on the sides there are floors covering the upper third of the bder, plus the forearms, shoulders and elbows. You can still rondel the armpits. You just sew it on.

    Additionally, you can take gloves and sew them too. Small plates on the phalanx from above (too much on the sides - you will have to walk with your fingers, but you certainly don’t need to sheathe the inside), on the next, and finally on the back of your hand. To make it completely beautiful, each next row hangs somewhat over the previous one.

    Like there are whole scales on the fingers here. One plate per phalanx is enough. And let it be solid over the palm. Craga (bell) - very good. If there is still material left, do it.

    You can make a helmet from the same isolon. Here you will definitely have to take 1 cm thick.

    This thing is called bascinet. It even has a rib, so making it out of two halves, we will stay close to the truth. The visor can be omitted. The only thing I would advise is to connect the two halves in front and below so that they do not bulge, and the helmet keeps its shape.

    As a result, you should get something like this:

    You can not fool around, but make a knight of the 12th century. Sew a shirt, pants and a hood from jersey, matching the colors to match the chain mail. Or sew on some kind of mesh on top. Put on a bright cott-d-arm on top - it's just a rectangle with a cut for the head and a couple of cuts, stitched on the sides (for beauty, we draw some coat of arms on nm with acrylic). The helmet is a round bottom, we sew a rectangle and a mask to it - all the same isolon.

    The hero's costume can be made using improvised items.

    As a basis, for example, use a white or black turtleneck and black or blue wide knit pants gathered at the bottom or gather.

    You can take a shiny silver fabric and sew like a cape, i.e. make a slit for the head in the center of the rectangle, and sew on the sides, leaving slits for the hands.

    Of course, you can't do without a raincoat and boots.

    Cut out a rectangle from red or blue fabric and make ties on one side for putting on a raincoat. Boots can be taken ready-made (if any) or sewn from the same fabric as a raincoat.

    Well, the final image is a helmet.

    The helmet can be made from cardboard and colored paper, or sewn from brightly colored fabric.

    An interesting option for making chain mail from T-shirts and foil.

    Suit options:

    To sew a costume of a knight or a Russian epic hero with our own hands, we need various fabrics. From which we will cut a tunic, the dimensions of which correspond to the child's height. In this costume, she reaches the knight's knees.

    Fold the fabric in half, make a slit for the head at the fold, and cut the hem figured out. We bend and overcast the sides and neck sections.

    Make a cross on the chest in a contrasting color from satin fabric or ribbons. We will attach two ribbons on the sides.

    Now let's start making the shield. Ideally, a shiny cake box base will work. If there is none, then we cut out the circle ourselves, prime it with white acrylic in two layers and paint it with metallized paint.

Almost every boy in his childhood wanted to be a hero. So why not make your dream come true? After all, you can make a cool costume for the protagonist, and make a helmet of a hero on your head with your own hands.

We work with paper

The process of forming a helmet from paper can be traced to the example of a master class.

For needlework you will need: a balloon, plasticine, a centimeter, paper, PVA, petroleum jelly, silver and black paint, a sponge.

Inflate the balloon approximately the same size as the circumference of the child's head (you can measure it in advance with a centimeter). Lubricate the ball with Vaseline, then draw a sketch of the future helmet on it. Now we take the paper, cut it into small pieces, and begin to glue the ball using the papier-mâché technique. First, we glue the first layer, then we wait until it dries, and only then we glue the second. Using this technique, the helmet will be stronger.

When we paste the required amount of paper, gently blow off the ball, cut it off, and then sand the uneven edges. We make out a spike on the crown with plasticine. Glue a couple of layers of paper again and wait until the structure is completely dry. Then we cover the workpiece with a couple of layers of PVA. You can mix it with white paint.

Now you need to paint the helmet. Apply neatly and evenly the first layer of silver paint, and then, after complete drying, the second layer. Before the paint dries, take a sponge, dip it in black paint and gently nail it to the workpiece. Such a technique should create the effect that the helmet is old. From the inside we paint the helmet with black (only acrylic) paint. Mesh fabric can be glued to the back if desired.

You can use the same technique if you want to make a foil helmet. To make a helmet, instead of silver paint, take regular kitchen foil and smooth it over the surface of the hat. You can glue the foil on PVA glue. And at the end, you can decorate the hat as you wish.

A simple lesson

And now we will give you another item on how to make a helmet with your own hands from scrap materials.

To do this, you will need a 5 liter plastic bottle, a large plastic cup, a washing bag, silver paint, scissors, double-sided tape.

Draw a helmet on the top of the bottle and cut it out.

We attach the cone to the bottle with scotch tape.

Cut a rectangle out of your laundry bag and paint it silver.

We paint the workpiece with the same paint. You may need to coat the helmet in two to three coats for a richer metallic hue.

We try on the mesh, mark the places where we attach it with a marker.

Using double-sided tape, we attach the mesh to the inside of the bottle.

And the helmet from the plastic bottle is ready.

I will clarify with the first line that everyone is aware that the civilian is in the registry office and it is wrong to call cohabitation by this term. Now, let's do it, my topic is not really about that.
I lived with my husband before marriage for almost 7 years, given that we were at odds. And if I told someone, then many tried to instill in me that, they say, she would drown and quit. I say: "What's the point? I don’t depend financially, to live with him (I don’t ask for his parents' w / n, where he is registered, there are no children yet, we are going to take a 50/50 mortgage (in the end, we were already married), wedding money No, but I DON'T WANT to paint just like that, but I was persistently told that if you don’t marry, he will dump, he does not consider me his wife, etc.
When they got married, these same people gave me something like that: "I got my way, bent a man" (and this was straight with respect, I went nuts).
Here. In general, we have been together for 18 years (both married and before), I hope that this will continue to be so)
I am interested in the opinion of those who do not recognize the very cohabitation and consider it frivolous. Why exactly do you hold this idea?)
Happy Holidays everyone!

Katerina

The husband works very hard. Very direct. On weekdays, he does not return before 10, leaves at 7. In fact, he only spends the night at home. A couple of times a week daily allowance. Weekends are not very often, and he spends them in a horizontal position - he sleeps in a week. That is, in fact, we also do not spend much time together. At the same time, the salary is not millions, he works, so to speak, for the name and for the sake of interest (all his life he dreamed of exactly the job where he works now).
I am on maternity leave with a baby, grandparents are not around, girlfriends and friends also do not live nearby. I'm going crazy alone all day with my child. Not physically, but morally very tired. The child has a hard time teething, he is capricious, constantly crying. I understand that soon the cuckoo will go from all this. Today I cry all day, because everyone is having fun, resting, and I sit with my child while my husband is at work.
There is a clear feeling that I do not live my life - I dreamed not of such a life, 100% straight. I dreamed of traveling together, spending time in the country, hugging in the evenings. And in the end, I fall asleep with the child on the couch before my husband arrives (since the child very often wakes up at night, and on the bed he’s afraid he will fall off if he sleeps together, and the husband needs to get enough sleep).
What to do with all this? I understand that this job is the dream of his life. But it doesn't suit me. He will not change her, that's for sure. Yes, it will probably get easier soon and it will work less. But the periods will still be such an impassable hell with days, late arrivals, etc. But I don't want to live someone else's life either? Is divorce the only way out? I don't want to get a divorce, but I can't live like that either. I always dreamed of two children, but in fact I can't cope with one alone, and I won't dare to deal with this state of affairs on the other.
I would like to hear tips, learn about your experience. Maybe someone was in a similar situation. I feel disgusting.

Today is March 8th. The forum already had a wonderful topic about female emancipation, and how women got the opportunity to do "male" work. And so I decided to tell and show what kind of man it is to perform "female".
After parents in Sweden learn the happy news about the addition to the family, they somehow think about how the parental leave will be planned. Parental leave is 480 days (16 months), but there are several features of this leave.
Immediately after the birth of the child, both parents are entitled to 10 days of care and acquaintance with the newborn. This is especially important for mums, some of whom may be after a cesarean section and need the help of the child's father. This right is enshrined in law and the employer cannot deny a newly-made dad these 10 days (even if the plan is “burning” and there is no one to replace it!).
Then the parents decide among themselves how they will distribute 480 days of "leave". Both dad and mom are entitled to half the maternity leave, i.e. 240 days. But parents may decide that some of them will spend a longer time on parental leave. One of the parents can transfer to another one guaranteed by the law from 1 to 150 days.
The Swedish decree has one very important "BUT"! Both dad and mom have to sit with the child for 90 days. These days are assigned to each parent and cannot be transferred to the spouse. If, for example, the father cannot or does not want (which happens very rarely with the Swedes) to sit on maternity leave, then he cannot pass the mother's days, they will remain with him. In the future, until the child reaches the age of 8 (or graduates from the first grade at school), the father can use them to go on vacation with the child, stay with the grown child on vacation, or simply help with studies. If dad (or mom) did not use these 90 days, then they "burn out".
By the way, earlier the law assigned only 60 days to each of the parents and the "bar" to 90 days was raised only recently (60 days are valid for children born before January 1, 2016).
Photographer Johan Bävman spent 9 months on parental leave. This unforgettable experience inspired him to create a series of photographs of strong and successful men on maternity leave. The series is called "Swedish Dads" (Swedish dads).

The image of an ancient Russian warrior is liked by all boys without exception. A caring mother can please a boy with a real self-made hero costume. It consists of a helmet, chain mail, armor and boots. How to turn simple things into a heroic entourage? Step-by-step instructions and a detailed master class will help with this.

What to make a helmet for a hero

The hero's costume does not look at all without a headdress, so a little warrior will need a beautiful helmet. It can be made from simple and affordable materials.

What you need to work:

5 liter plastic bottle;

Plastic cup 500 ml;

Laundry bag or mesh section;

Silver or gold paint in a spray can;

Mounting double-sided tape;

Scissors and glue.

Working process

1. Cut out the base of the helmet from the top of the bottle. To do this, draw a wide frontal part with a marker, leave the sides even. We cut off all unnecessary.

2. From a plastic glass we make a conical top of the helmet. To do this, cut out the bottom of the glass, cut it vertically. We cut out a cone from the resulting plastic sheet, fasten it with double-sided tape.

4. We start making chain mail for the helmet. We make it from a washing bag. This mesh is quite durable and inexpensive. You can use mosquito nets or leftover tulle, but the material is thin and stretches a lot.

5. We paint the grid with paint from a spray can in silver or gold color.

7. Cut the mesh and try it on the helmet. In the places of attachment, we apply double-sided tape, to which we attach the chain mail-mesh.

Trying on a ready-made heroic helmet for the baby. We start making other parts of the costume.

Chain mail and shirt for a hero with their own hands

An irreplaceable attribute of a heroic costume is a shirt with a Slavic pattern and chain mail. To sew a Bogatyr costume for a boy with your own hands, you need to stock up on the following materials:

White loose shirt;

Cut of the border with a Slavic pattern;

Foil underlay for laminate;

Glue, scissors, double-sided tape.

Working process

Step # 1 Bogatyr's shirt

A simple white shirt or nightgown can be turned into a heroic shirt. To do this, it is enough to sew a beautiful border with a pattern on the bottom of the product. Now on sale you can find almost any border. The shirt for the hero is ready.

Step number 2 Chain mail

Chainmail can be made in several ways.

1. A vest is cut out of an old knitted sweater, which is painted with paint from a spray can. To do this, the vest is pulled over the back of the chair. This chain mail turns out to be quite light, but the smell of paint remains.

2. You can make a scaly chain mail-shell. For its manufacture, you will need rectangles of the same size, which are fastened in a checkerboard pattern. You need to start work from the bottom row of chain mail. In addition, the rectangles must be colored on both sides. The dried parts are sewn onto a tight sleeveless jacket.

Important! You can make a chain mail armor from a foil substrate under a laminate, cardboard, a plastic folder or other materials.

How to make boots and pants for a hero-boy suit with your own hands

Old Russian heroes wore high boots with curved toes and a figured bootleg. You cannot find such on sale, but making them is quite simple from scrap materials.

What you need to work:

Thick fabric for boots;

Dublerin;

Dense linoleum or leather for the sole;

Thick threads for decorative work;

Shiloh, scissors.

Step # 1 Pattern of boots

We take the necessary measurements from the child's foot and draw just such a pattern.

We transfer the details of the side and front of the boots to the fabric, not forgetting about the seam allowances. We cut out the sole from dense linoleum or leather.

Step number 2 Collecting boots

We iron all the details. We additionally seal the front part of the bootleg with doublerin so that the boots keep their shape.

On the sole with an awl we make holes through which the bootleg will be sewn.

We fold the details of the boots made of fabric with the front sides inward and sew them on a typewriter. We turn it out and try it on the sole. We distribute the fabric along the side of the sole, pinning it with pins. You need to sew on the sole by hand, with even and neat stitches.

Boots for the hero's costume are ready!

The trousers of the old Russian hero are made of plain fabric. For their cutting, a pattern of any sweatpants or wide trousers is suitable. We transfer the pattern to the fabric and sew the pants along the side and crotch seams, not forgetting to tuck the bottom of the legs and insert the elastic into the belt.

You can use ready-made sweatpants made of soft knit fabric.

Shield and sword for a hero from scrap materials

The weapon makes the outfit more effective. As a rule, a do-it-yourself suit of a hero for a boy is complemented with a shield and a sword.

To make a sword you will need:

Thick cardboard;

Spray paint;

Metal and plastic decorations;

Glue, scissors.

Draw a sketch of the future sword on thick cardboard. We cut out several parts, which we glue together. This will add extra strength to the finished product.

We cover the dried sword blank with several layers of spray paint to get an even and beautiful color. When the paint is dry, we proceed to decorate the sword.

To decorate the handle, you can take beads, multi-colored plastic or metal rhinestones, colored foil, and more. Decorations are glued in random order to the hilt of a cardboard sword.

A shield for a warrior is made light. In Slavic culture, the shape of the shield was simple, more like a circle or oval. The shield for the hero consists of several parts:

The main part - 2 circles of cardboard. We calculate the diameter of the circle as follows: we measure the length of the arm from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow of the child;

Borders - a hoop made of cardboard about 3-5 cm wide. The inner part of the hoop can be made curly;

Central circle with decoration: dragon head, sun or monogram.

The elements of the cardboard shield for the main part are glued together, after which they are painted and allowed to dry out. The border is painted separately, after which it is applied to the main part and glued. The same is done with the central part of the shield. When the shield is ready, an elastic band is glued to it from the inside, which will fix it in the hand.

When working on a hero's costume for a boy, you can give everyday things a new purpose with your own hands. By connecting imagination and ingenuity, you can accurately copy all the details from ancient legends. It is important not to overdo it with jewelry, because a hero is a rather strict and formidable image.

There are few instructions on how to make a hero's costume with your own hands. As a guide, you can use the book "Costumes for Children's Parties" by Olga Kontareva. More "advanced" home craftsmen act without someone else's instructions, based on their own ideas about the image. Making a New Year's outfit according to your own project is very exciting and can be great fun for the parents themselves.

Any detailed illustration from a children's book, a picture or even a screen from "Three Heroes" can be taken as a sketch of a fancy dress. The costume consists of the following elements:

  • Pointed helmet with nose protection.
  • Chain mail or scaly shell.
  • Shirt with embroidered trim and high collar.
  • Boots with curved toes.
  • Sword and round shield.

Each of these items can be made by hand, without special financial costs.

Heroic helmet

The headdress of the ancient Russian warrior has a pointed shape, thanks to which the hero's costume begins to claim historical originality. To make it you will need:

  • Cardboard.
  • Thin braid or cord.
  • PVA glue.
  • Paint with aluminum powder or "silver" in a spray can.

You need to stock up on tools in the form of sharp scissors or a paper knife, a brush, a stapler and hand napkins.

The very process of making a heroic helmet is as follows:

  1. Parts of the future heroic headdress are cut out of cardboard. The parts are glued together along the allowances on the folds, which, for reliability, should be fastened with staples from the inside.
  2. At the places of the "seams", that is, the joints of the cardboard, it is necessary to start up the braid, laying it out in a neat pattern in the form of a Christmas tree or a wave. The decor will cover the joints.
  3. Then it is evenly coated with silver paint. For more elegance, the edge of the dress can be painted in gold or black. Transparent nail polish will give the product a metallic shine.

Chainmail and shirt

The New Year's costume of the hero is impossible without chain mail up to mid-thigh length. You can do it in any of the following ways:

  1. Any plain knit sweater can be turned into armor. To do this, you need to pull it over the legs of a stool or other shape and cover it with "silver" from an aerosol can. The resulting chain mail will be lightweight and comfortable, but it can be unpleasant to wear because of the smell.
  2. A scaled carapace can decorate a hero's costume, turning an ordinary warrior into a warlord. To create it, cut out the details in the form of a rectangle measuring 1x2 cm with one rounded side. As a material, you can use very dense foil, thin linoleum, a cover of a plastic binder.

The difficulty of making chain mail "dragon scales" is that each detail must be painted over, both on the front and on the seamy side. After drying, they are carefully sewn onto a sleeveless jacket made of dense fabric. Rows of scales begin to lead from below in a checkerboard pattern, and each next row is laid with an overlap of half the length.

Another bright element is a shirt that protrudes from under the chain mail by 10-12 cm and is decorated. A braid with a similar decor can be found among handicrafts and can be turned into a regular turtleneck or shirt into a fabulous outfit.

Boots and pants

A hero's costume for a boy is impossible without boots with curved noses or curly tops. You can't find such in shoe stores, and individual tailoring is very expensive. But from available tools, you can easily make fabric covers that are worn over ordinary boots or even sneakers. Their manufacture consists of the following stages:

  1. The elements of trompe l'oeil boots are cut out of dense fabric according to measurements taken over the shoes. Cutting must be carried out with an allowance of 1 cm.
  2. Details are sewn on the inside. To preserve the curly edge, a piece of cardboard is inserted into the bootleg and fixed with an adhesive cloth.
  3. The fabric cover is attached to the boot from the inside using clothes hooks or double-sided tape.

The trousers of the ancient Russian warrior have a "sweatpants" cut and a monochromatic color, without patterns or decorations. So you don't have to pick up a separate thing in a hero's costume, but get by with ordinary trousers. You can even use part of a school uniform, after having smoothed the arrows.

Sword and shield

Fake weapons and equipment will make the outfit for the New Year's party more effective. In addition, they can be set aside at any time to participate in active games. As a rule, a hero's costume is complemented with the following items:

Sheathed straight sword. This item is cut from a sheet of cardboard box and pasted over with paper, and then painted. To decorate the handle, you can use rhinestones, beads or pieces of colored plastic.

Light shield. Complex shapes are intended for European knights, and circles and ovals are associated with Slavic warriors. The decorative shield consists of several parts:

  • The base is a circle of 2 layers of cardboard. Its diameter is equal to the length from the tip of the middle finger to the elbow of the boy's hand.
  • The border is in the form of a hoop, 2-3 cm wide. Its inner edge can be figuratively cut.
  • The central figure is in the form of a silhouette of the sun, a three-headed dragon or a monogram.

The elements of the shield are pasted over with paper, painted and only after that they are connected into one whole.

When making a hero's costume with your own hands, you need to give free rein to imagination and everyday ingenuity, which allows you to give everyday things a new purpose. And at the same time, it is important not to overdo it with decorations and details. It is important to remember that a hero is a strict male image.

Olga Salnik

Dear colleagues, I would like to present you a master class suit, which can be useful for any matinee, this hero costume!

What is included in heroic costume?

Mainly:

1. Shirt.

2. Protection.

6. Boots.

So, let's begin!

1. SHIRTS.

To do this, take a regular white shirt and a special braid with embroidery. Cut off the cuffs and collar. We sew the braid along the edge of the collar and along the edge of the shelf on which the loops are located -15-20 cm down. We also sew the tape along the bottom of the sleeves.

Here's what happened!

2. PROTECTION.

For protection, we take regular fabric "Two-thread"... We cut it over the shirt, only a little longer and wider. The neck, accordingly, is made a little larger, the sleeves are shorter. Sew a gray bias tape along the bottom of the sleeves and along the edge of the neckline.

Draw an ornament on the sewn-on parts with silver acrylic paint.

Protection is ready!

There is no particular preference here. You can take any pants that match the color and are wide enough.

We need thick cardboard for the helmet. We make such a blank.

We glue the part along the allowances with a glue gun.

We paint our helmet with bronze spray paint (I took with a hammer effect).

We weave a braid from knitting threads and glue it along the edge of the helmet.

Our helmet is ready!

For a raincoat, a piece of red lining fabric is needed - 1 meter and a gold ribbon for decoration

We outline and cut out the neck and bottom.

Then we sew a gold braid around the edges, and a braid with embroidery along the neckline.

Sew strings along the edges of the neck (gold braid)... And our cloak is ready!

6. BOOTS.

We make just such a pattern for parts and leather substitute.

We sew all the details along the edges.

Sew a silver braid along the upper edge of the boots. And the boots are ready!

The spear is very simple! We take a polyethylene pipe and cardboard. We paint the pipe with paint spray - bronze, and form a tip from cardboard (paint it with spray paint too)... We connect one to the other with a glue gun and the spear is ready!

For the shield, we need cardboard, spray-bronze paint, gouache paint (red and ocher, thick threads, wide elastic band, glue gun.

Cut four circles of different sizes from cardboard. We paint them with paints. On the second circle we form a thread pattern. On the first circle, make slots and insert an elastic band (for arm mounting)... There should be two mounts to make it easier to hold the shield. Next, we collect our shield (glue the circles together).

In the end, this is what happened.

Such is Dobrynya Nikitich!

Sundress. To make a children's sundress for a girl, 5 - 6 years old you will need. 70 centimeters orange satin, 50 centimeters.

First, let's define what the garment consists of, these are:

  • shirt;
  • pants;
  • chain mail;
  • cloak;
  • boots;
  • helmet;

Let's start with the shirt. To sew it, you need to prepare:
  • gray, white cotton or linen fabric;
  • braid;
  • threads;
  • scissors;
  • lace;
  • buttons.
To sew a shirt, the pattern will be very simple.

As you can see, you will need a single piece of the back and front, on their border draw an oval that will become the neck. On the shelf just to the left of the center, make a slit so that the child can wear this shirt. The sleeves are also rectangles.

Attach the first blank of the sleeve to the front and back part, aligning their center with the neckline. To do this, be guided by the dotted line drawn on the pattern. Sew the first sleeve first, then the second sleeve with the main part.

Now fold the shirt in half, sew the side seams of the front and back, as well as the sleeves. Use an overlock for seams.

Tape the bottom of the shirt by wrapping the edges.

The sleeves can be designed in two ways. For the first, first tuck them up to form a drawstring, sew the braid here, then insert the elastic into the drawstring. For the second method, you first need to tuck the sleeves, stitch, insert an elastic band here, and then sew the braid on your hands. But then you need to make the sleeves a little wider in this place so that the elastic does not squeeze the hands.

Process the neckline and cutout with the same tape.

As you can see, the lower part of the braid on the cut needs to be bent to get two symmetrical corners. When attaching the tape, bend the base fabric so it does not wrinkle.

Sew a button and a thin cord near the neckline, bending it like a loop.

To make a belt, braid with three laces. They can be of the same color or different colors.

You can sew pants without a pattern. To do this, you need to attach the front and back panels of the boy's trousers to the fabric, cut out with allowances for the seams. Next, the legs are sewn in the center at the sides. When cutting, add a little more so that the boy can freely take off and put on his pants. To keep them well on the waist, make a lapel here, stitch it in, thread the elastic. Trim the bottom of the trousers, after which they can be worn on the child.

How to make a heroic cape?

First prepare:

  • scarlet fabric;
  • golden bias inlay;
  • large button;
  • a linen gum.
Let's start cutting this piece of clothing. To determine the width of the fabric for the raincoat, have the child let go of the arms along the torso. Measure its volume around the elbows. The length of the product is measured from the neck to the bottom of the thighs on the back. You will get a rectangle, round its two corners at the bottom.

To sew a cape cloak, you just need to hem the product around the perimeter on three sides with an oblique inlay.

Fold the fabric at the neckline, stitch it in this position, insert an elastic band here. From the same edging tape, make a loop, sew it to the top of the raincoat, attach a button on the other side.

Here's how to sew a raincoat. To make boots, you can pull out the inner warm liners from rubber boots, edging them with braid to make heroic shoes. If you don't have such a detail, then sew the suede soles to the red woolen socks. Boots will also turn out.

You can limit the creation of an image by this or continue to make a hero costume for a boy. With your own hands you need to make the following piece of clothing.

How to make a hero's chain mail - 3 ways

Let's consider three options. To embody the first idea, we will knit it, the second method will show how to weave chain mail from wire. The third idea will reveal the secret of creating a hero's protective clothing from coins.

  1. To knit chain mail, cast an odd number of loops on the knitting needles. Remove the first loop, then knit this row with the front ones.
  2. Also remove the first loop of the second row, tie the second one with the front one, remove the third loop so that the thread is at work. Perform the fourth loop with the front one, remove the next one, knit using this technology to the end of the row.
  3. The next, third row, consists of front loops. 4 row repeats the knitting of the second. The fifth row is identical to the first and third.
  4. Continue to knit using the same technology. Here's the drawing you get.

Always finish knitting rows with the last purl stitch. By turning the canvas over, you will remove this loop at the beginning of the next row.

You can knit chain mail in the form of a vest or sweater. In the second case, you will need to create sleeves.

Now see how to make chain mail using coins for this. Often such a trifle as 10 or 50 kopecks. lying around as unnecessary at home or simply throwing them away, although they can be used.

Take:

  • identical coins of low value;
  • drill with a thin drill;
  • steel engraving washers;
  • pliers.
After securing the coins in a vise, make 4 holes in each with a drill. Now you need to fasten them element by element using engraving washers, bend the ends of those with pliers.

The next method is more painstaking, but it will come in handy for those who do not yet know how to make chain mail with their own hands, but he needs this piece of clothing for a costume ball or reproduction of a theatrical action with the participation of heroes.

For such a chain mail, you will need serious tools, these are:

  • vice;
  • pliers;
  • the device on which you will wind the wire;
  • side cutters, which are used as a hacksaw or scissors for metal;
  • gloves.

The main material is wire. Aluminum will not work categorically, as it is too soft. You need to take steel or copper.

Steel wire is the easiest to buy or obtain, while copper is heavier. See how to make a wire winding tool. Below is its diagram.

Insert the tip of the wire into the hole of the tool, wind it around the rod. Then - "bite off" with pliers and stretch so that there is a small distance between each turn. Cut this spring into rings. Make lots of these.

Now each of them needs to be aligned with pliers, then squeeze with the same tool to connect the ends of each ring.

Choose a weaving method from the presented ones, use it to connect the rings into the canvas. Here's how to make chain mail using the unit cell weaving pattern. To do this, take 4 rings, thread one not yet closed ring into them. Connect its ends, straighten it to get a blank of 5 rings.

How a hero's chain mail is made using the "rope" method is also clearly explained by the diagram. As you can see, the rings of the subsequent rows are passed through the rings of the previous ones. There are other interesting weaving techniques, such as dragon scales.

Using any of these weaves, you need to make a few details:
  • front part;
  • back part;
  • two sleeves;
  • 2 shoulder straps.
We will use a method of assembling parts called "apron". It lives up to its name, since first you connect the chest and back with straps to create a kind of apron. After that, you need to braid both sleeves.

There is still a little left to make the hero's costume completely ready. See how to make his weapon, but for children.

How to make a hero's sword from a ball or cardboard?

You can create it using the most unexpected materials. See how to make a sword from a balloon. The creation of various figures, objects from balloons is called twisting. If you are making a hero costume for a child, a sword from a balloon will be a great solution. Such weapons are completely safe, children can organize tournaments using them.

So let's get started. Inflate a long balloon with a special pump, tie it, bend it as shown in the photo.

Make another identical loop.

Find the center of this shape, twist it with the remaining free long end of the ball.

You have the handle of a sword, and on the other side, its safety blade.

Now you can start a fun game by arranging a competition between heroes or.

How to make a sword of a hero out of paper and glowing?

For paper, the following materials will be required:
  • a sheet of colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • scotch.
Lay a sheet of paper in front of you, cut a quarter from its smaller side. Roll this small piece in width and a large piece in length.

Place the small piece on top of the large piece crosswise. Secure these two pieces with tape. Sharpen the lower part, for this you need to press here on one side and on the other, fix it with tape.

Here's how to make a sword out of paper quickly. Consider the second method of making it from other materials. With such a weapon, you can imagine yourself as a fantasy hero, and not just a hero.

Here's what you need to get things done:
  • cardboard or thick paper;
  • polycarbonate;
  • transparent sealant;
  • strip of skin;
  • glowing paint;
  • glue gun;
  • foam board;
  • scissors;
  • a pen.
See how to make a lightsaber. Redraw onto cardboard or print the following diagram. As you can see, the sword on it consists of three parts, after copying you just need to match them.

Attach this template to a piece of clear polycarbonate from which you want to cut two identical pieces.

Lubricate the edges of one part with a small amount of transparent sealant, place the second on top of it, press down to connect both blanks. Cut out two identical pieces for one and for the back of the handle, glue them in place.

Let the glue and sealant dry. Then rewind the sword handle with a strip of leather. Just below it, on the top of the blade, make a small hole with a drill. This is where you extend the syringe nozzle or paint tube. Fill the sword with this glowing solution.

It looks especially impressive in the dark. If you decide to celebrate the birthday of a boy on the theme of animated films about heroes, then dim the lights, and the child will come out in the appropriate dress, holding a sword in his hands. The sight will be mesmerizing.

Fairy tale "Three heroes" - a script for a boy's birthday

You already know how to make a hero's costume. For this event, you will need 3 of them. Heroes can be a birthday man and two of his friends, or three adults. You will also need a Baba Yaga costume, making it very easy. This requires a wide skirt, jacket, apron. A scarf is tied over the head, makeup must be applied to the face.

So the birthday begins. When everyone has gathered, the adults say that three heroes will come to the birthday boy. But suddenly Baba Yaga runs in and loudly complains that the heroes do not give her life. She tries to do bad things, but they always bother her. Therefore, the old woman decided to teach a lesson and bewitched them. With these words, Baba Yaga pulls out a picture showing heroes. She says that now they will not interfere, since they have turned into painted ones.

But the guys can disenchant them if they cope with difficult trials. Adults ask if the guys are ready for them? The kids of course agree. Then Baba Yaga announces the first birthday contest.

Contest: "Find Gems"

She says she needs gems to find. For this competition you need to prepare in advance:

  • cereals;
  • 2-3 bowls;
  • 20-30 aquarium stones;
  • sweets or volumetric stickers, which will be awarded to participants.
Depending on how many children have gathered, you need to divide them into two or three teams. Take the same number of bowls, pour cereals there, bury 10 stones in each container. On command, the guys begin to take out these stones from there, then these finds must be given to Baba Yaga. She announces that the kids have done it.

The next competition should be calm so that they can rest. Prepare in advance the riddles that Baba Yaga will ask the guys. Of course, they will guess them.

Tug-of-war competition

On the one hand, Baba Yaga is trying to pull the rope, on the other, children are doing it. They are winning, of course.

The harmful old woman has no choice but to say that the guys have proven that they are kind, smart, and have strong strength. Now we have to return the heroes. Baba Yaga leaves, they appear. A funny theme song would be appropriate here.

The heroes say that they came with funny songs with heroic games. The next contest is perfect when you're designing a birthday script for a boy 10 years old or so.

Fun competitive game "Don't Drop the Egg"

Let each team line up, give the first participant a spoon in which he will put a boiled egg. Everyone in turn needs to run to the farthest point, then go back to transfer this trophy to the second team members, then to the next.

It is better to take not a real egg, but a plastic ball or wooden one similar to this object so that the children do not break it.

If someone drops a trophy, you need to put it back in the spoon and continue moving on.

2 contests with pins

Skittles will be needed for the next competition. They need to be arranged in a chain, run around in a zigzag manner and return back in the same way or in a straight line. Skittles can be spotted with plastic water bottles or. filled with sand.

When developing a script for a boy's birthday that you plan to spend in the country, in the yard or outdoors, be sure to include another fun mobile competition. To do this, you need to prepare or bring with you:

  • skittles;
  • hoop;
  • ball or newspaper crumpled into a ball;
  • chalk or basket.
The task is as follows. Each participant in turn must first run around the pins, then stand in the middle of the hoop that lies behind them. Put a ball or crumpled newspaper here in advance. Any of these items need to get into the basket, and if you are out in nature you did not take it with you, then draw a target on a dark tree so that the child gets into it.

And here is an interesting competition, which must certainly be on the hero's birthday.

Competition game "Cart"

Each hero will take a child from his team by the legs, he must run in his arms along a certain path. But here you need to make sure that there are no stones and sharp objects on the road. The one who completes this task faster becomes the winner.

If you are thinking about how to develop a script for a boy's birthday at home with contests, there will also be no problem. If you have a large room with little furniture, then the Trolley game you just read about will do just fine, like the next one.

Competition "Russian braid"

For it you will need:

  • combs;
  • brushes;
  • rubber bands for hair.
It's funny if boys play the role of hairdressers. On command, they begin to weave the girls' braids. Whoever does it first will win.

The next power competition, which can also be held at home. You only need two items:

  • towel;
  • water.
Soak towels in water, wring them well, tie knots at each. Now give these trophies to those who wish to participate, let them try to untie the knots. It's not an easy task, but it's a birthday based on the fairy tale "Three Heroes".

Finally, you need to turn the brightest participants into them. For this competition you will need:

  • large sturdy trash bags;
  • scissors;
  • belts;
  • small balls with a diameter of about 5 cm.
Here's how to make a hero costume in 5 minutes.
  1. In the center of each bag you need to cut a hole for the head, and just below for both hands, put these blanks on the guys.
  2. Tie them with belts at the waist so that the bags above it are not tight, but free.
  3. Make a cut on the neck and armholes more, because it is here, on command, that children will begin to fold balls, turning boys into muscular heroes.
As a result, you will get very funny figures, be sure to capture this on camera, on a camera. After such fun entertainment, it's time to sit down at the table to celebrate the boy's birthday.

If you still have any questions regarding how to make a hero's costume, you can find the answers to them in the following videos on this topic.

The latter will teach you how to make a DIY helmet. It will complement the heroic attire.
