A holiday in the style of Cleopatra. Egyptian party Egyptian party for children contests

Egyptian party "The Temptation of Cleopatra". Scenario
23.11.2012 |

Egypt keeps a lot of secrets: pyramids, sphinxes, magnificent tombs and, of course, beautiful Egyptian queens and majestic pharaohs. Do you want to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Egypt, see with your own eyes how the Egyptian rulers rested, taste the charm of luxury and reveal the secrets of the mysterious east? We invite you to the Egyptian Seduction of Cleopatra Party.
Inviting guests to a thematic party.

Holidays of this kind do not include invitations like “Oh, hello! Party tomorrow, come! " Preparation is needed thorough and worked out to the smallest detail. So, invitations. Take advantage of the possibilities of computer graphics, you cannot resort to the help of specialists yourself, you can also do everything yourself, the main thing is that everything should be beautiful and correspond to the general concept.

The main emphasis of the invitations is the theme of Egypt, let it be:
images of pyramids,
sphinxes,
scarabs,
gilded frames will look great,
sparkling stars.

On the back, write the text of the invitation, preferably in the style of the Arabic script, but it will also be fine with your own handwritten handwriting!

How to give your party an Egyptian feel

The room can be any, the main thing is that it meets the requirements for the number of invited guests and allows you to create the necessary entourage and place decorations.
Use different textures to enhance the atmosphere of Egypt. This could be:
sand,
satin,
silk,
velvet,
texture of old papyrus for background,
silk multi-colored shawls.
Rich brocade will also be appropriate,
velvet and natural silk,
scrolls from "ancient" papyrus can be used as programs and evening menus.
Beautiful pillows in silk, embroidered with gold thread, scattered here and there, will create an atmosphere of coziness and comfort for your guests and will perfectly fit into the theme of the party.
The table should be low as guests will be seated on pillows. Cover the table with a tablecloth decorated with beads and tassels at the edges.

Fake jewelry and gold coins can be placed on the tables.
Decorate the room with palm trees, they can be either real or artificial. Create the illusion of a real oasis by decorating the room with a light gauze sand-colored fabric that will imitate sand, and the blue fabric can act as the Nile River.
You can also create something like a tent over your head with fabrics. Hang vines, golden ivy garlands, and oil lamps on the walls.
Do not forget about candles, they will add mystery and special mood to the evening.
A huge thicket filled with water, in which lighted candles will float, will well complement the scenery.

When decorating a room, it must be remembered that the ancient Egyptians did not abuse bright colors; a maximum of 3 colors were used in decorating the premises. In ancient Egypt, flowers were given special attention, since each color had its own meaning:
red - victory and life,
green is a symbol of new life,
blue - fertility and rebirth,
yellow is the color of gold and eternity.

Dress code for a theme party

The main clothing of men in ancient Egypt was a loincloth called "shenti", while women wore so-called "kalaziris", which is a piece of cloth that wraps the figure from ankles to the neck and is held on two thin straps.

Of course, after millennia, the clothing of the Egyptians has undergone some changes, so here you can somewhat weaken the theme of ancient Egypt. Dress in such a way that you do not get off the topic of the main concept, but at the same time meet the requirements of the morality of our time.
Men can wear light linen shirts tied at the hips with a bandage imitating "shenti" and light linen pants. Wear an ornament made in the form of a sun disk, embroidered with beautiful stones and gold threads around your neck with a bandage.
Outfits for women. These can be flowing gauze sundresses with pleated hemlines, and oriental-style suits: harem pants and light silk shirts. Ornaments can be massive gold or gold-like chains bracelets, decorated with beautiful stones. The advantage in hairstyles is given to straight long hair or small curls on the head, which will be decorated with a diadem.

How to entertain guests at an Egyptian evening.

Use the services of animators, dressed in the form of mummies or Egyptian kings, let them stand at the entrance to the hall and greet guests, and invite dancers who will perform belly dancing.
For such a party, it is best to choose live music. She will perfectly complement the overall atmosphere.
You can also organize a separate hookah room or room for smoking guests.
Board games were common in Ancient Egypt, but since the rules of the games have not been preserved since then, you can offer guests:
chess,
checkers,
cards or
backgammon.

Among the fun games, there is such a well-known game "The Mummy", the task of the game is to wrap a partner in toilet paper, the team whose mummy turns out faster wins.
The game "In search of lost treasures." Take a tray and lay out on it various small things or fake jewelry. Show the tray to the audience and ask them to remember what is on the tray, then cover it with a handkerchief, turn away and put away a few things. Guests should identify what is missing.

Friends, pay attention to the contests section, there are many interesting games, you will find a pillow.

Party treats.

The East, as you know, is a delicate matter, so you need to treat dishes with special responsibility.
For an appetizer, offer your guests pastroma - this is smoked-dried beef in spices, lentil stew, shawarma - fried meat cut into thin slices and wrapped in a flat cake with spices and herbs or a shakshuk omelet with tomatoes and meat.
From hot dishes, you can choose various kebabs or shashliks, cutlets fried on a wire rack called klufta, Cairo-style chicken or shoulder of lamb stewed in a tomato.
Desserts can be various oriental sweets: baklava, donuts in syrup, Egyptian semolina pie with yogurt. For dessert, serve real Egyptian tea - karkade.
There must be a lot of fruits on the tables, lay out all the dishes on large rich trays so that each guest can take as much as he wants.
You can choose any hot drinks, the main thing is that they are in moderation, and they satisfy your taste and the taste of your guests.

VERONICA

Hello! Yesterday we celebrated 8 years of our daughter, chose the program "Expedition to Ancient Egypt" and did not regret it. First, I would like to say that the center is. Voloshin is easy to find and is located in a great place (across the road there is a park and Novodevichy Pond), if you wish and the weather is good, you can continue the holiday with a walk. I would like to say a huge thank you to Svetlana (host of the holiday)! We had 11 people, more than boys, and everyone was delighted. All 2.5 hours the children were keen and interested. This is not only fun, but also very informative! They ordered a pyramid cake from Elizabeth and both children and adults were delighted! It turned out to be not only very beautiful, but also incredibly tasty! In general, the holiday turned out to be great! If you want to spend your child's birthday cheerfully, actively, informatively, do not hesitate, YOU are HERE!

Alas, all home quest scenarios are similar to each other. Why? Well, how to write a universal guide for all site visitors who live in different apartments and have a different set of household utensils and appliances.

Of course, no matter how hard I try, I can't even get a millimeter closer to, which from floor to ceiling are clogged with electronic, mechanical and magnetic mechanisms, talking panels, accompanied by sounds from other worlds.

It is impossible to do something like that, since a set of props even for the simplest game is made to order or bought for a lot of money.

Once again, I have to make do with paper scrolls with puzzles, the minimum role of a presenter, and recommend the simplest household props that can be found in any apartment. In principle, you can play both in the cafe and in the park gazebo.

Judging by the reviews, my readers are successfully using these ideas and doing home quests on their birthday and just like that.

I hope I will not disappoint you this time too!

Legend

The Egyptian princess Ankhesenamun (one of Akhenaten's daughters) hid jewelry in her father's tomb that she wanted to pass on to her worthy descendants. Each piece of jewelry is a lucky charm.

In 1821, many Egyptian burials were looted by looters, and the princess's box ended up in England, passed from one European collector to another. In the 20th century, the trail of Ankhesenamun jewelry was lost.

Several years ago, copies of 12 papyri appeared in different countries, which were recorded at the behest of Ankhesenamun. A letter is encrypted in each of them, but no one was able to make a word out of them and solve the riddle of the princess.

Only the one who glues all the papyri into one long scroll and writes the secret word will the princess give the treasure. Each scroll begins with a horoscope. Find your date of birth and read about your superpowers, look for your purpose. It is interesting!

The essence of the game

This time I decided not to paint the role of the presenter at all. Mom, grandmother or sister just needs to sit in the kitchen or in another room behind a closed door and slip another papyrus into the slot. It can be somehow different. Receive one file at a time by e-mail from an "unknown address" and read tasks from a tablet, for example. Or just give out all the papyri at once, the essence does not change.

Children solve puzzles, glue all the papyri into one long scroll, as the ancient Egyptians did, write the final word into the cells. The scroll must be left in the middle of the room, go outside the apartment for a minute.

This whole ceremony is needed in order for my mother to change the papyrus for the treasure box of the Egyptian princess. Here I can not impose my opinion, put what you see fit. Chocolate coins or inexpensive jewelry.

Of course, everyone is pleased to receive an unusual talisman as a gift.

Bracelets, pendants, head jewelry.

Cute pendants in the form of amulets (in case the boys play too)

If all this is expensive, mix these "gems" with sweets, it looks great.

On each scroll, I placed not only a puzzle task, but also a fragment of the Egyptian horoscope (later those who wish can find the full text on the Internet). The Egyptians believed that the abilities of a newborn could be identified by the date of birth. This information has nothing to do with the quest, it will just be interesting for girls at this age to read. The headings of the scrolls are the names of the gods of Egypt.

After the quest, you can hold a culinary master class - making Egyptian sweets. These are date candies with almonds, for example. You will find recipes easily. Tasty and healthy!

Quest scenario

I made two versions of papyri. I wrote assignments on some, and left others blank, just in case, so that you could write in your puzzles if mine seem too difficult or rather primitive. At the same time, I kept the pictures with the gods and the Egyptian horoscope in both versions.

If you will pick up tasks yourself, do not make all 12 too difficult. The players' brains will boil. Let some questions be very simple, in some papyri write requests to cut, fold, glue, etc. The main thing is to feel the movement forward.

All materials can be downloaded for free from my Yandex Disk (you must have a Yandex account for this).

I won't write the assignments here, you will read everything on papyri. I give only comments and answers.

1. Hapi (Nile)

Let's start with a simple task. It is necessary to assemble the frame of the "great structure". Players can easily guess that this is a pyramid. From the word itself, you need to select two identical letters that will be needed at the end. Give 8 identical sticks (I suggest wooden kebabs) and a piece of plasticine.

These are two letters A (pyramidA).

* Deity and short horoscope on each papyrus - just for entertainment information. It's interesting to know something supernatural about yourself, right?

2. Mut

Rhinestone shards are ice cubes that must be prepared in advance. It is better to take boiled water, then the ice will be transparent. Before freezing, put a bead, grape, flower, button, etc. in each cell. Only one will contain a letter (you can write it on a piece of plastic with a permanent marker). “Take out the rock crystal at the moment when the girls are carried away by the previous papyrus and put it in a vase in the kitchen.

Players can put all the shards in a bowl and melt under the tap. Well, or invent your own way of extracting information from ice. There should be an I.

3. Osiris

The ancient Egyptians left many drawings, thanks to which we learn details about the life of the dynasties. Players need to name a shape that, when drawn, looks the same from any angle.

It is, of course, a ball. We need the last letter of this word - R.

4. The one

Here is a task for attentiveness. You need to find a vase that is somehow different from the others. This is a vase N. There will be three such letters in the future word, the players must memorize or write it down.

I remind you. If the task does not seem very successful to you, pick up your puzzle and paste it on an empty papyrus with the name Thoth.

5. Geb

Taste the Egyptian gifts ... Here I propose to treat the children with dates. Place sweets in a small bowl. If the players don't eat right away, they should just guess that the next letter is on the bottom of the dish. They can bite every date with caution, but it's even fun.

This will be the letter D.

6. Horus

Another mindfulness task. In ancient Egypt, papyri were rolled and sealed. It was important to be able to read these seals in order to understand the essence of the text without opening the sheet. Children need to find a seal, the print of which is lost.

We just check the figures in the picture, we understand that this is a seal under the letter Ch.

7. Seth

The ancient Egyptians had conical vases with a hole on the bottom in their houses, from which water slowly dripped. From morning to evening and from evening to morning. What word do we call a modern device?

This is, of course, a watch. There is a clock in every house, under which you need to somehow hide the next hint. This is the letter P.

8. Anubis

You just have to start reading this strange text. At first, the brain refuses to understand the essence, but by the end of the paragraph, you already easily read and understand the code. You have to catch the pattern and read the word 8434. This is a vase. The new clue is in the vase. Just put a piece of paper with the letter Z written on it.

9. Isis

Beans are a popular product in Egypt. Sprinkle in some white and some colored. The main thing is that there are 6 more whites. Let them count and find the letter of the alphabet with serial number 6. This is the letter E.

There are also three such letters.

10. Amon-Ra

All letters are already there, but the word is long, you need to suggest the first and last letters.

And here everything is not so simple. When you look at the folded pieces, it doesn't seem so, but the players will pant. Give a set of cardboard shapes (I give the picture in the same folder). You must first fold the square and make out the letter P (dotted line). Then we add a triangle from the same figures. And we see the light gray letter E.

The first is P, the last is E. Oh, yes. This is again the base and the edge of the pyramid.

It can be held both in kindergarten and at home, having discussed in advance with the parents that the invited children (and the adult too) should come to the birthday party dressed as Egyptians. The script will be interesting children 4-7 years old... It is assumed that the script is played in a large hall (cafe, gym, assembly hall, etc.). Children are brought into the room and lined up in a circle.

Cheerful music sounds. Queens Nefertiti and Amphora come out to the children, who immediately begin to fuss, depicting a search for something important.

Nefertiti:Hello children! My name is Queen Nefertiti - the most beautiful and famous Egyptian queen, and this is Queen Amphora - the wisest ruler of Egypt. How did you end up here? Why are they so smart? (The children answer that today is Kolya's birthday).

Amphora: Wow! Birthday is a wonderful holiday. Come out to us, birthday boy, to get acquainted.

Amphora: Guys! I have an idea! Why don't we all go together in search of treasures to the ancient pyramid of Cheops? True, for this we will have to go through severe tests, but if we are strong and courageous, then everything will work out for us and we will find the map of Pharaoh Akhenaten, and you will become real Egyptians!

Guys: Yes, we do!

Nefertiti: Amphora, but it's not so easy! Do you think they can handle it?

Amphora: Sure! Look, the guys have already put on real Egyptian costumes, they just have to find out what qualities an ancient Egyptian resident should have. What do you guys think?

Guys:Egyptians are smart, strong, dexterous, cunning, etc.

Nefertiti: Okay, now we're going to check if you can really become real Egyptians! Repeat after us, and you can learn how to move and dance like the inhabitants of the Old Kingdom!

Amphora: Let's see how agile, flexible and attentive you are. The first test begins!

"Charging in Egyptian"

Cheerful dance music turns on. The queens stand in a circle and begin to dance the Egyptian dance (characteristic movements of the hands, at right angles). Children walk in circles and repeat after them.

Nefertiti: Congratulations! You did it, now you can move like the Egyptians.

Amphora: But it was an easy task. The next test will be more difficult.

"Steps over the abyss"

Leaders take out a rope or rope. Stretch it in a zigzag across the floor. Children should take turns on the rope so that they do not step on the floor.

Nefertiti:Well done! You have passed this challenge! Now we will test your strength!

"Pyramid Builders"

The presenters take out a rope or rope tied in the middle with a colored ribbon. Children are divided into two teams and stand opposite each other (you can draw a line between the teams by putting a piece of colored paper on the floor, for example). The goal of each team is to pull the rope in their direction, beyond the line. The winning team is awarded a prize (candy, stickers, etc.).

Amphora: Well done! How strong you are!

"Game of the Pharaohs"

Nefertiti: We move on to the next test: accuracy.

The presenters are placing props in the hall: plastic pins, balls. Children take turns with the ball to knock down all the pins standing in a row on the floor.

Amphora: So, children, today you have become real Egyptians. And like all real Egyptians, you must have your own pharaoh. Since our birthday boy is Kolya today, let him be a pharaoh.

Nefertiti: Kolya, come out to us. Happy Birthday to you! Today you have become a pharaoh, and how a good ruler should take care of his subjects. Now you will solemnly take the oath of the Egyptian pharaohs.

Amphora: Repeat after me. I, the great Pharaoh, swear to my friends that I will never leave anyone in trouble! I will protect the weak! My strength is in kindness and a sincere smile!

Here the hosts "accidentally" find a map of Pharaoh Akhenaten.

Nefertiti: I found a map! Guys, look, here it is!

Amphora: Wonderful! Now, together with the children, we will be able to find treasures and see the ancient pyramid of Cheops.

Nefertiti: We can hit the road! Now everyone is ready, because everyone has become real Egyptians. Go ahead for new adventures!

Music plays, the presenters take the children to another room, where everything is already prepared for the holiday.

Amphora: Look! I see something there! It seems to be the famous labyrinths of the Sphinx.

The presenters, together with the children, carefully study the map of Akhenaten.

Nefertiti: Well, Egyptians, are you ready to hit the road?

Guys: Yes!

Amphora: Now a serious obstacle awaits us, the labyrinth of the Sphinx.

"Labyrinth of the Sphinx"

There are tables in the room, covered with cloth on top. Children need to take turns crawling through the "maze" and get to the exit, where the leaders are waiting for them.

Nefertiti: Well! We all gathered, now we can continue our journey further.

"Accurate shooter"

Amphora: Attention! A sandstorm is approaching us! To go further, we must pass another test. Let's see which of you can become an Egyptian shooter warrior!

The presenters take out two buckets or plastic basins, and balls. Children are given balls, and buckets are placed a short distance opposite them. Each child must throw a ball into the bucket, for which he receives a prize (sticker, candy, etc.).

Nefertiti: Wonderful! Now our pharaoh has strong warriors.

"Scarab and Scorpion"

The presenters take the children to the next room, where there are aquariums (or there is one large aquarium), in which there are dummies of insects and amphibians, as well as bottle caps and other unnecessary trifles. Children should take out dummies from the aquariums and place them on the floor while naming each of them (snakes, lizards, scorpions, centipedes, cockroaches, etc.)

Amphora (looks at the map) : I see a scorpion is drawn here!

Nefertiti: This means that we must ask for help from our friends: bugs, snakes, spiders, lizards, scarabs and scorpions!

Amphora: Guys, let's release our friends! Let them look for treasure!

"Mummy"

Amphora: But we are not afraid of her! We ourselves will become mummies! Who wants to be a mummy? We need four volunteers!

Guys: I AM!!

The facilitators select four volunteers, then, together with the children, wrap them in toilet paper (prepared in advance).

"Curse of the mummy"

Amphora: Children, it seems that our mummies are enchanted! If they touch you, then for 10 minutes you will not be able to get up from the chair!

Nefertiti: So next challenge! You need to run away from the mummy.

"Mummies" run after children, those whom they touched sit on chairs placed around the perimeter of the room.

"Crocodile song"

Amphora: Friends, all of Egypt already knows that Kolya has a birthday today! Let's congratulate him all together with a song!

The presenters turn on the music (the song of Gena Crocodile from the Soviet cartoon - "Let them run awkwardly") and all sing it together.

"Sand Dunes"

The presenters arrange inverted chairs in the room so that they form a long zigzag. On the opposite side from the children is a model (or just a drawing) of the Cheops pyramid.

Nefertiti: I see the Cheops pyramid in the distance! It seems that we have almost reached our goal!

Amphora: But there are still sand dunes ahead! Children, join hands! You need to go so as not to touch the dunes and not to untie your hands, otherwise you will forever lose your friend in the desert.

After the children have passed the test, they find themselves in front of the pyramid of Cheops, behind which a box is hidden.

Amphora: Look! What is it?

Nefertiti: This is a treasure! Let's open it up soon! What is there? These are gold coins (chocolate candies in the form of coins)!

Amphora: Let's give this treasure to our Pharaoh! I'm sure he will share it with his friends!

Nefertiti: Happy birthday, Kolya! Now we all together will congratulate you (Kolya is given a gift, they say congratulations to him)!

Amphora: And for your Egyptian friends, we have gifts! These are colored pencils (coloring books, felt-tip pens, etc.)!

Nefertiti: And now we will arrange a real holiday: fun, dancing! Let's congratulate our birthday boy again! Together! Happy Birthday!

Guys: Happy Birthday!

Music turns on.

Amphora: Guys, let's dance! The Egyptian disco begins!
