Party in German script style. Oktoberfest - beer party

“Do you love beer the way I love it?” At the German Oktoberfest beer festival, this question sounds strange to say the least. At this festival, beer flows like a river, everyone around is friends, and at the same time, nobody cares about you, there is only freedom, beer and a sea of \u200b\u200bpositive. The only pity is that this holiday happens once a year, and not everyone can get to it. What if you invite him to your party? And it doesn't matter to arrange, say, Novemberfest, or any other fest. To do this, you need a reason, good company, good mood, and some valuable advice.

Invitation

So that the abundance of the foamy drink is not a surprise for guests, send out invitations with the theme of the party. They should be decorated in German style, depicting a traditional beer feast. Invitations can be made from coasters for beer mugs - this attribute of beer gatherings will also remind you of the theme of the holiday. Now that we are sure of an adequate response from the invitees, we can proceed to the main thing.

We create a German entourage

So that there is no doubt about the theme of the party, a suitable room needs to be "Germanized", to give it an appropriate entourage. The main property of any state - in our case Germany - is the coat of arms and the flag. Since beer parties are mainly attended by young people who are not burdened with large fortunes, we will do them with our own hands. To make the coat of arms, we need a piece of white fabric, you can take a sheet. We reprint the German Eagle on paper, then we transfer it to fabric. We paint the drawing with paints, let it dry, cut out the coat of arms and attach it to the shaft. Done! Now it remains to find a suitable place for him.

We sculpt the German flag from the remaining sheet. To do this, paint the rectangular canvas in black, red and yellow. But! you can do otherwise and attract all guests to the decoration. Buy balloons, inflate them and start coloring. How many of them will survive all the manipulations, we do not know, but a portion of fun is guaranteed.

If the reason for the party is Birthday, then congratulations to the birthday person in German would be quite appropriate. They can be written on the wall or cut out of paper and connected together. To avoid color cacophony, use shades of the German flag, as well as white and blue. Bavarian housewives laid tablecloths in a blue and white cage or a rhombus on the table - remember this when serving the table.

Bavarian party has no place for bruises and stilettos

Having decorated the hall, we proceed to decorate ourselves, loved ones. Our guests are already aware of the theme of the party, which implies the appropriate dress code. The guests will need to be smart and imaginative to match the ambiance of a Bavarian beer party. The beautiful half of the guests will be delighted - their outfit will emphasize their sexuality and sensuality in the best way possible. A white blouse with a deep neckline, bare shoulders with falling sleeves, a lace-up corset - a rare girl will refuse such an outfit. For the lower part of the clothing, a fluffy skirt with a lace hem is suitable. The shoes are comfortable, and there are no stilettos - they will only interfere with the Bavarian perky dance. The absence of hats allows any liberties with the hairstyle, but if the hair is long, a Bavarian braid is ideal.

It's a little easier with men. This option is suitable for them:

  • knee-length pants or shorts
  • white shirt and vest
  • suspenders and leg warmers

To complete the look - a hat with a feather, like a Tyrolean one.

Do not forget to prepare some spare kits - for the occasional guests looking at the light.

Where is the buffet?

Since the main protagonist of the Bavarian party was, is and will be beer, the entire menu must be made up for it. In addition to commonplace croutons and chips, you can cook sausages, pizza, meat and cheese cuts. And since a party is not a dinner party in a restaurant, but an equal Sabantuy, we do not hesitate to attract guests to replenish the menu. For beautiful ladies who do not like a foamy drink, you can resort to radical measures - prepare beer-based cocktails - as they say, and the entourage is observed, and the girls are happy.

Beer entertainment

When throwing a beer party, remember that this is a holiday, and not an evening gathering with a beer in front of the TV. Have fun! Think about what kind of music will be on the holiday. Perhaps you invite musicians, or pick up some perky melodies and perform a Bavarian dance. In order not to get bored, think of some fun contests, with prizes and gifts. For example, with your eyes closed, determine what kind of beer is in the mug. The one who makes the fewest mistakes wins. Or arrange a beer bellies competition, drinking for speed. The main thing is that the mustache does not flow, but gets into the mouth.

Now for our top tip: don't forget to buy a beer!

A checklist of what to avoid when throwing a traditional German grill party.

Burgers

In case someone suddenly needs a classic burger, McDonald's can be found in every German city.
Although named after a northern city in Germany, these minced beef patties are generally not fried on German barbecues. Most often, sausages, pork steaks, chicken legs and wings in various marinades are placed on the grill here.

Rolls

Germans do not put fried sausages in rolls. Rather, if you buy a sausage on the street, it will really stick out of the bun. However, at grill parties, sausages and sausages are usually fried and served unaccompanied and eaten with a fork and knife rather than by hand.

Ketchup

The Germans certainly eat ketchup at their grill parties, but curry is the more common sauce and can be served with any grilled meats, from sausage to chicken. A popular sauce is also a red and white mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise.

Gas grill

About 93% of Germans have barbecue facilities. That being said, according to a recent poll, more than two-thirds of German respondents prefer the charcoal grill, while the rest choose the gas model. Waiting for hot coals takes a lot of time, but coal is cheaper and more, so to speak, authentic. Some people build stone fireplaces in the garden, but most use a portable metal brazier. For emergencies, shops sell the Einweggrill, a disposable outdoor cooking kit.

Sour cabbage

A common stereotype is that Germans eat sauerkraut for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can say that in southern Germany this is really a traditional side dish for literally all types of meat and sausages - but usually in winter conditions. Sauerkraut at a summer barbecue is usually not entirely appropriate - a fresh cabbage salad is much better.

Vegan food

Indeed, times are changing, and there are more and more healthy alternatives to greasy sausages and bacon stripes on German grills. Mushrooms cooked on a wire rack and a variety of vegetables - eggplants, corn, potatoes, and even fruits - are also good. Nevertheless, at grill parties in Germany, meat is still often found even in side dishes, from bologna sausage in a pasta salad to ham in a potato salad. True vegetarians should be prepared for this and stock up on soy sausages and steaks in advance.

Rye bread

Germany is world renowned for its excellent rye breads. The Germans love it so much that they eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But at parties with a grill, white varieties such as French baguette or Turkish tortillas are usually popular with European neighbors.

Lack of beer

Everyone knows that Germans love beer. Every region, city or even village has its own specialty beer. So, in Cologne they drink Kölsch, in Dusseldorf - Alt-Bier, in Hamburg - Astra, in Bochum - Fiege. Therefore, on a German barbecue, you will have to drink local beer, but at least there should be plenty of it.

Heavy desserts

Germany has rightfully earned a reputation as the homeland of the world's finest cakes. However, high-calorie pastry creations such as the Black Forest Cherry Cake are mainly meant for afternoon coffee. Grill parties in Germany often culminate in a yogurt and fruit platter.

Juicy Bavarian sausages, fiery music, gorgeous girls in revealing outfits and it is cold, frothy, thick barley gold! Sounds fun? Then an Oktoberfest-style beer party is your theme!

The format is ideal for a birthday or other noisy celebration without a hint of officialdom. The best place is outdoors in a large tent or in the open air among a heap of themed decorations. Not a season? Then the spacious cafe hall, free from interior delights.

The October Festival in Munich is a riot, a rage, a real frenzy of millions of beer lovers! In order to recreate the atmosphere of Oktoberfest, it is desirable that there are many people at the party.

Registration

The most popular colors are white and blue, the flag of Bavaria. Another option is the black, red and yellow flag of Germany. But in theory, you can choose any colors for the party, because there are dozens of tents at Oktoberfest, and each has its own atmosphere.

  • hang ribbons, garlands and flags of selected shades... Collect paper national dresses and hats, glasses, labels, pictures of peddlers in garlands. The topic is popular, everything is on the net (print or order sets). There should be a lot of garlands and ribbons, especially on the ceiling - imitation of a tent.

Garlands with triangles are easy to make from white and blue wallpaper (the cheapest paper ones). Cut into rhombuses, fold in half in advance. It is better to cut wallpaper with a stationery knife on a thick cardboard - much faster than with scissors. And then, already on a fixed thread, smear with a pencil-glue and you're done.

  • decorate the walls with pretzel beads, views of Munich at night or Teresa's meadow, photos of festively decorated carts, thematic pictures and quotes - sayings, jokes about beer (there is a huge choice);

  • large paraphernalia in the Oktoberfest style will hide unnecessary details of the furnishings and come in handy for a photo - growth beer mugs, huge gingerbread, barrels, peddlers and Bavarians in national costumes. Cardboard + printout or drawing on double adhesive tape;
  • to enhance the atmosphere of the theme party, hang a banner with the words Oktoberfest at the entrance, and signs with the names of beer brands in German around the hall. The labels can be glued to the balls in matching shades. It is not difficult to make glasses and bottles from long balls (or buy foiled ones with a theme);

  • place several barrels or large boxes covered with tablecloths... Use paper to make awnings / umbrellas over each table. Light snacks, a specific brand of drink (print and re-stick labels). It will turn out atmospheric, almost like the tents at a real festival!
  • since the Oktoberfest takes place in autumn, vegetables, fruits, seasonal flowers, and bouquets of cereals are used in the decoration of tents. Something can be found at any time of the year, cut red leaves out of paper, barley - print drawings, buy artificial hops or also drawings;

  • add zest to your party decor. For example, flowers in beer glasses or cans, pour weak tea instead of water. Electric garlands can be put in bottles without labels. In mugs filled with the same tea - blue and white miniature candles.
  • for funny photos to remember the party, Oktoberfest-style paraphernalia will come in handy: mustaches, hats, flags, etc.... Skewer + printed picture. For the background - a view of the Theresa's meadow at night, Neuschwanstein, a press wall with the names of the brands.

Don't forget about invitations - a postcard in the form of a beer mug, a pretzel, a gingerbread, a fake ticket to Munich. Thematic flyer with humor: “Beer fest in the company of hot chickens and the coolest Bavarian pretzels!”, “Drinks and toilet for free!”, “Drinking a lot is harmful. But little is boring! "

Costumes

At this party, an Oktoberfest-style dress code is desirable - the outfits are very atmospheric! For women, of course, a pedlar suit. It can be rented or partially assembled, partially sewn. Elements of the image:

  • blouse with an open neckline, in ruffles, sleeves with flounces or flashlights... The color is often white;

  • bright lace-up bodice, preferably with a patterned braid (national element). Can be fake;
  • a fluffy skirt of any length, often just below the knee or a naughty short... The color does not necessarily repeat, but certainly matches the bodice. Instead of a blouse and skirt, a sundress of a similar style will do;
  • a miniature apron in a contrasting shade so as not to merge with the skirt;

  • white stockings / knee-highs, closed shoes with low heels (it is inconvenient to dance on stilettos). You can tie a headscarf or put on a hat on your head.

Decorations and accessories on Oktoberfest girls are either absent altogether, or modest - they do not distract from the main thing. By the way, the main thing can be covered up if a revealing suit confuses you (this is even more reliable).

The traditional hairstyle is two pigtails or ponytails, tied with ribbons in the color of the skirt or bodice lacing. The makeup of the Bavarian pedlar is rather modest, emphasizing the image of an innocent rural girl.

For men, it is enough to wear a shirt, shorts / cropped trousers with suspenders and a hat. Shorts can be made from cheap trousers by stitching suspenders from a cut-off bottom. And you can not torment the stronger sex with such delights, limiting yourself to suspenders and a hat + regular pants, a white or plaid shirt.

If there is little time for preparation, have guests come in any comfortable clothes.... After all, the dress code is a tiny fraction of the party. And most people do not visit Oktoberfest in suits, but in casual T-shirts and jeans. By the way, the white top and denim bottom are just in the style of the color scheme.

To emphasize the theme, prepare accessories - hats, beer helmets, neckerchiefs in a white and blue cage, badges in the form of thematic paraphernalia (stick the cardboard on the badge).

Menu, serving

You can save time on decorating the table - the main decoration should be food. Blue and white tablecloth, simple "rustic" dishes, 1-liter Maßkrugs or disposable cups if there is not enough glass for everyone.

Place fruit in inverted hats, and place bouquets of sunflowers, chrysanthemums, or cereals in mugs. Hang a few garlands, pretzel beads and painted gingerbread in a recognizable style (you can draw, just for the entourage).

The table is preferably common, long - several arranged, as before at weddings. Dishes can be placed on a common table or, for reliability, on a separate one - guests fill their plates with goodies and sit down at the common table.

The food at the Oktoberfest party is predominantly greasy and very satisfying. It is harmful, but it allows you not to lose your head after a couple of liters of the main drink of the holiday. For those who do not like beer, young wines are sold at the festival.

The menu is the same year after year. This is a tradition, in a sense, even a landmark of the October festival. Of course, you can add to the list at your own discretion.

  • pork, chicken and white Munich sausages;
  • chickens Hendl, served in halves (carcass cut lengthwise). This is the most beloved and most requested fest dish;
  • bavarian pork shank;
  • meat stew with stewed vegetables;
  • whole fried or boiled potatoes, Kartoffelsalat (traditional salad, very popular);
  • Steckerlfisch - fish on a stick baked in coals;
  • sauerkraut, fresh cabbage salads, tomatoes, herbs, bunches of radish.

The recipes are quite simple and are available online. Credeli Pretzel are easy to make too. And also buy a salty cracker (there is a similar shape), nuts, felted fish and other snacks.

For a sweet tooth, cupcakes in the form of beer mugs will delight: cut off the lid of the biscuit, make a hole, fill with cream, decorate with mastic and pour cream before serving.

Entertainment

By tradition, the festival begins after the exclamation "O'zapft is!" - uncorked! The honor of driving the crane into the first barrel is given to the burgomaster. You can also start the script for an Oktoberfest-style party by solemnly handing the birthday boy a wooden hammer.

A plot scenario at such a party would be superfluous. The goal is simply to relax and have fun in an informal relaxing environment. And in order not to get bored, prepare contests. For the victory, give a bottle of good German beer or, according to the results, choose the king and queen of Oktoberfest.

On request "Oktoberfest music" there are entire collections of suitable songs and melodies on the Internet - national, orchestral, modern. Download some compositions to immerse your guests in the atmosphere of festive Bavaria.

Any alcoholic games will fit into the party script. For example, the same beer pong and Flip Cup will be entirely in the theme (the rules are on the net). Contests, where you need to drink more / faster, are best held in the middle of the party, when the guests have already eaten, but have not yet become too hot. We offer ideas for contests in the style of Oktoberfest.

Hammer and drink

By analogy with the opening ceremony of the festival, but we will not drive in a crane, but nails. Every year the audience counts the hits and keeps statistics. The burgomaster's goal is to drive the crane in as few blows as possible. Then the minister-president drinks the first portion and that's it - people can walk!

Thick long bar, nails, hammer. Take turns, if there is only one hammer. Guys are competing with guys, girls with girls. The winner is the one who hammered a nail in fewer strokes.

Let this be the first competition, while the guests can still hold the instrument firmly in their hands and hit the hat... For the entourage, after the hammered nail, the guest should say a toast in honor of the hero of the occasion and have a drink. It will turn out to be a very colorful opening of the party.

This is power!

Traditionally, the competition is for girls-peddlers, but it is possible all together, only once again divided into chicks and pretzels. By analogy with carrying a wild weight - several liter Maßkrugs.

The guests take the chair by the legs, pressing their elbows to the sides, stand for 20 seconds. Then the presenter places a plastic water bottle (safer than glass) on the chairs and pauses. Then another bottle and another, and another.

One by one, the guests drop the bottles, leaving the competition. If at the end there are a couple of super hardy "peddlers" left, the presenter asks them to stand on one leg, stretch their arms forward, and jump.

Best beer belly

And this is a competition for guys, but also - what's the difference? Oversized T-shirt, balloons. How many T-shirts, so many participants at a time. In a minute, you need to stuff balls into a T-shirt so that you get a big belly. The winner is determined by the host by measuring the "waist".

Another option is to mark the circle with a ribbon, tie large pillows to the stomachs. The goal is to push the opponent with the "belly" outside the boundaries of the improvised arena.

"Bowling"

Beer cans and a baby ball are popular entertainment at the fest. Where are the banks from? And the cunning locals bring drinks with them, knowing about the exorbitantly high prices.

"Mini golf"

Mop a ping-pong ball into a glass on the ground. For elimination, three attempts, the distance is more and more each time.

Entertainment and contests for team party script:

  • In five minutes. come up with a name and slogan for a beer... These will be the names and motto of the teams.
  • Drink your beer through straws before your rivals... Large "command" capacity at about 300 ml per person.
  • Transfer "beer" (it is better to use a weak tea) from the common full basin to the team's container... Full basin in the center, command capacity at some distance. Transfer with paper cups (glass can be broken when they are all together scooping from a common basin). Time is limited. Whose basin is there more drink?

  • Build a tower above your opponents... Traditionally from mugs, but it is dangerous - better empty disposable glasses or loto kegs (by analogy with barrels).
  • Oktoberfest in numbers - a quiz to get guests to rest... You need to give an approximate number. Add points to the team whose answer is closer to the truth. Questions:
    • the maximum number of strokes on the crane (19), and the minimum (1)
    • how long does the festival last? (on average 16)
    • number of visitors (about 6 million)
    • entrance fee (free)
    • and a liter of beer? (10 euros), and half a chicken? (10 euros)
    • how many companies are allowed to sell beer at this festival? (total 6)
    • how many chickens are eaten annually? (about 500.000)
    • do they drink beer? (about 7 million liters)
    • how many toilets are there? (about 850).

The list is easy to continue, there is a lot of information on the net. And every year, doctors pump out about 700 "beer corpses". You can arrange a competition for the "dead" guest - lie absolutely motionless while the others tickle you and make you laugh. Who will last longer?

In addition to competitions, be sure to dance to the fiery Bavarian music! It will be great if the presenter shows simple movements of national dances or plays a video on the big screen. Happy festival to you!

Presents: mugs and / or T-shirts with a commemorative inscription, themed key rings, bottle openers with the German / Bavarian flag, coasters for mugs and other beer accessories.

Every year during the most famous beer festival - Oktoberfest - its visitors drink 6 million liters of beer and eat 1.5 million fried sausages. We are not encouraging you to break the records of this festival, but we suggest throwing a beer party at home.

Beer party menu

If you should not be too smart with the choice of a drink (the main thing is not to abuse it), then we do not recommend limiting ourselves exclusively to fried sausages.

As a snack for beer, you can make hot sandwiches with tomatoes and hot peppers, puff "snails", cheese cakes, onion rings, chicken wings, barbecue, pita bread with filling, Minutka pizza.

Table setting for a beer party

For a beer party, it is worth considering not only the menu, but also the nuances of table setting. The classic beer table is massive, wooden, as a rule, it is not covered with a tablecloth.

However, if your table does not meet these requirements, then you may well serve it in the Bavarian style, that is, choose a tablecloth and napkins in a white and blue check.

At the same time, you can decorate the table with cloth napkins folded in some unusual way - for example, in the shape of a frill or a sea urchin.

Also stock up on coasters for beer glasses. And the appetizer will look great on ceramic plates or even wooden cutting boards.

Beer party contests

Don't be bored during a beer party! How to occupy a remote company? Contests and sweepstakes, corresponding to the theme of the holiday.

For example, you can arrange beer drinking at speed, and not in the most standard ways - through a straw or a baby pacifier. Entertain your guests with marksmanship contests, during which they will throw rings on beer bottles or try to get a cork in a mug.

Butthead game

The most popular and fun game for beer lovers is Butthead. It is ideal for an active company. The main thing is not to get too carried away with this activity, so as not to drink too much beer. In everything you need to know when to stop!

To play you will need:

number of players: more than two;
playing cubes - 2 pcs.;
beer;
shot (vodka glass) - 1 pc.

Butthead game rules

By throwing dice, the turn is determined (who has more points, he starts the game).

Then, in turn, each player rolls the dice and sees what needs to be done. If dropped:

2 - 1 shot is drunk by the person to the right of the thrower;
3 - nothing;
4 - the person to the left of the thrower drinks 1 shot;
5 - penalty (the person again rolls the dice - how many points will fall out, how many shots he drinks);
6 - elite penalty (a person rolls dice - how many points will fall out, all players drink so many shots);
7 - everyone quickly puts their index finger on the table. The last one drinks 1 shot;
8 - the thrower makes a wish (for example, the one who next gets 3 points when rolling the dice, cleans the room, etc.);
9 - the thrower cannot leave the table until in the next rounds he again throws 9 points;
10 - everyone drinks 1 shot;
11 or 12 - the thrower becomes a Butthead (puts a box, bowl or saucepan on his head and drinks the same number of shots with everyone as they do until someone else becomes a Butthead - rolls 11 or 12 points).

Moreover, if the dice (or one of them) of any player fall off the table during the throw, he must throw them again and drink as many shots as he scored points.

The rules may vary. You can change the actions based on the number of points scored by consulting all the players.
