And today I feel a surge of strength sufficient to again back to modeling based on our base pattern. Of course, you all expect that now I will tell you about the dress. But I will disappoint you.

We will not start with dresses, we will start with tops and T-shirts and through them we will begin to sneak up on dresses

Because if you created your very first pattern-base for the very first time - then the first product you sewn may not turn out as beautiful as you expected - and this will finally kill your faith in your abilities (which I by no means I want to admit). I know a bunch of people who drew a pattern, cut fabric, sewed cut details together, dressed on themselves, looked in the mirror and DISAPPOINTED.

This usually happens for the following reasons.

1. First reason. Your pattern was made with a mistake, and you understood this after you tailored and connected the details of the dress. In the wrong pattern may be to blameincorrectly taken measurements, inattentive following the instructions for drawing patterns, or the author himself wrote a training article. Hello my dear readers! With the advent of summer, I really want to sew perfectly light knit top. He can be on the straps and without them.

To do this, I needed 0.5 meters of knitwear. We will not even make a pattern: just take a piece of fabric, wrap ourselves so that the knitwear fits snugly on the body - and cut out the rectangle. The height of my rectangle is 40 cm. The remaining 10 cm for straps.

Our top will have only one seam - on the side. Be sure to put a knitting needle in the machine, otherwise there will be gaps on the stitches in the seam, and these gaps personally upset me ..
