Knitted pillow lamb. Lamb - pillow

I wanted to connect, create something interesting and at the same time useful. And I came up with such a pillow-toy with long legs, a “wing” head, a charming smile and kind eyes.

I previously bought yarn “grass” with blue-white color (two skeins) for knitting a fluffy body in the form of a pillow and yarn for the muzzle and legs - light brown in color, cotton (one skein).

I crocheted the body of a sheep No. 5, but I added cotton iris to the yarn “grass”, otherwise the loops were not visible at all, and knitting was unbearably slow.

But even taking into account knitting in two threads, knitting the pillow itself proved to be painstaking and monotonous work. Somewhere a week it took me to knit a fabric 27 cm wide, 56 cm long.

I folded the canvas in half inside out and tied the iris with white cotton thread around the perimeter of the columns, leaving 10 cm unstitched. Then I turned out the canvas, stuffed it with stuff for toys (it took a lot by the way), and sewed the pillow in a blind stitch using a needle. The thread fastened and hid.

I knitted the muzzle of a sheep for quite some time too. Used hook number 2.

Sometimes I had to dissolve and knit all over again, when I realized that the form did not suit me.

I used the same grass yarn for the “hairstyle” of the byash, but without the addition of cotton thread, I used the hook number 3,5. She tied a semicircle of a suitable size, and then turned out the very fluffy side and sewn to the muzzle.

Then I proceeded to design the muzzle, embroidered a charming smile with a black thread,

sewed pre-bound blue eyes, and “drew” breathtaking cilia :-)

The legs for the lamb contacted simply in one breath, because I was already eager to see this little animal, so to speak, “whole” :-) The length of the legs is 20 cm each.

It looks so funny sheep in the composition \u003d head + legs (without body)

And then they determined exactly where to sew the head ... for example like this, from above

Then the legs nevertheless were sewn around the edges, and still experimented ...

Well, as a result, they nevertheless sewn their heads “in place” :-)

Assembly of parts and design:

To start, I sewed the legs along the edges of the pillow.

Sew on the ears to the muzzle.

Well and most importantly - we sew the muzzle to the pillow, choosing the position of the head that you like the most relative to the body. I sewed a muzzle in such a way that if you put the pillow upright, then the head turns down and the sheep looks at us!

The length of the toy pillow was 38 cm (excluding the length of the legs).

Rejoice yourself and your loved ones!

  First we need:
Materials: 1 skein of grass (140-150 m / 100 g), a skein of acrylic or half-woolen yarn for the muzzle, ears and legs (choose 120-150 m / 100 g, I have a half-wool of 100 m / 100 g - not all for one skein Enough, I’m writing this description just for a thick thread, pay attention to it!), a thin thread for stitching a suitable color, two acrylic beads of black color for the eyes (as my friend who is engaged in jewelry explained to me, now acrylic is the most optimal in quality, of course you can glass, but this is a different price category), two large sewing buttons, n fillers (hollofayber, sintipuh or sintipon) and all small things for decoration (it's on your taste).

We collect 45-50 loops and knit with the front stitch (front rows - all front loops + hem, wrong rows - all the back loops + hem) rectangle for how much yarn is enough (as I knit, I will definitely write the sizes). You can try crocheting with crocheted columns, but then one skein is not enough and you will need to sew a pillowcase for stuffing.
For the body, I scored 48 loops (with hem), the width is 32 cm.

The canvas I got was 32 * 38 cm in size

All details are ready, now we proceed to assembly.

The legs are loosely stuffed with filler, so that later it is easier to make a tightening. We fold the canvas with the front side inwards. I start stitching from the corner and immediately sew in the legs. First I sew the sides with legs, and then I sew the back, do not forget about the tail. We leave the part unstitched and fill it with synthpuff or some other stuffing. The girls in the comments suggested inserting a pillow, I think this is a great idea, you just have to adjust the size of the canvas to the size of the pillow. Sew the remaining hole. It turns out here is a rectangle with legs and a tail.

A funny pillow toy is a wonderful gift for children; it will certainly find its place in the children's room and decorate it.

Pillow Diameter: 21 cm

  • beige cotton yarn - for knitting head, ears and paws,
  • chocolate-colored cotton yarn for knitting hooves,
  • pink grass yarn - for knitting a lamb body pillow,
  • black iris yarn - for "drawing" a smile,
  • brown eyes (brown) with a secure mount,
  • LOT of filler for toys,
  • scissors,
  • needle for stitching parts,
  • centimeter.

Body Pillow (1 piece)  - pink grass yarn, hook number 3,5.

Here you have to tune in for a long knitting. It took me 2 days.

As I mentioned, the pillow will be round and flat. It fits quite simply.

36 row: (8 sc, 1U) * 6 times (54)
37 row: (7 sc, 1U) * 6 times (48)
We twist the product, because it is the wrong side of the pillow that will turn out to be the most fluffy and fleecy. We begin to fill the pillow, so, slightly, loosely. Although in any case, filler in such a pillow will leave a lot. Next, we continue knitting, prying loops as if from the inside, from the bottom.
38 row: (6 sc, 1U) * 6 times (42)
39 row: (5 sc, 1U) * 6 times (36)
40 row: (4 sc, 1U) * 6 times (30)
41 row: (3 PRS, 1U) * 6 times (24)
42 row: (2 sc, 1U) * 6 times (18)
43 row: (1 PRS, 1U) * 6 times (12)
44 row: 6 y (6)

Tied up! We tighten the hole, hide the thread.

Knitting with grass-type yarn is rather capricious, you have to keep an eye on the number of loops sooo carefully. Be sure to mark the beginning of the row and periodically recount the number of loops.

Head (1 piece)

We collect 5 VP
1st row: We start to knit from the second loop from the hook - P, 2SBN, 4SBN in 1 loop, 2SBN, P (12)
2 row: P, 4SBN, 3P, 3SBN, 2P (18)
3 row: (1P, 1SBN) * 9 times (27)
4 row: (2СБН, 1П) * 9 times (36)
5 row: (5 sc, 1p) * 6 times (42)
6 row: (6СБН, 1П) * 6 times (48)
7 row: (7 sc, 1p) * 6 times (54)
8 row: (8 sc, 1p) * 6 times (60)
9-14 rows: 6 rows of 60 sc (60)
15 row: (8 sc, 1U) * 6 times (54)
16-17 rows: 2 rows of 54 sc (54)
18 row: (7 sc, 1U) * 6 times (48)
19 row: 1 row of 48 sc (48)
20 row: (6 sc, 1U) * 6 times (42)
21-23 rows: 3 rows of 42 sc (42)
24 row: (6СБН, 1П) * 6 times (48)
25-28 rows: 4 rows of 48 sc (48)

We measure and cut the thread with a length of 45-50 cm for sewing.

This is not the end of head knitting.

We knit the upper fleecy and fluffy part of the head with pink “grass” yarn, hook No. 3.

1st row: make the amigurumi ring, dial 6 loops (6)
2 row: (1P) * 6 times (12)
3 row: (1 sc, 1p) * 6 times (18)
4 row: (2 sc, 1p) * 6 times (24)
5 row: (3 sc, 1p) * 6 times (30)
6 row: (4СБН, 1П) * 6 times (36)
7 row: (5 sc, 1p) * 6 times (42)
8-10 rows: 3 rows of 42 sc (42)

We finish knitting with a connecting column (SS), cut and hide the thread.

Ears (2 parts)  - beige yarn, hook No. 2

1st row: make the amigurumi ring, dial 6 loops (6)
2 row: (1P) * 6 times (12)
3 row: (1 sc, 1p) * 6 times (18)
4 row: (2 sc, 1p) * 6 times (24)
5-8 row: 4 rows of 24 sc (24)
9 row: (2 sc, 1U) * 6 times (18)
10-12 rows: 3 rows of 18 sc (18)
13 row: (1 PRS, 1U) * 6 times (12)
14-15 row: 2 rows of 12 sc

Fold the part in half and sew in single crochet columns.

We measure and cut the thread 15-20 cm long for sewing the part to the head.

Paws (4 parts)  - yarn of chocolate and beige flowers, hook No. 2

Start knitting with chocolate yarn
1st row: make the amigurumi ring, dial 6 loops (6)
2 row: (1P) * 6 times (12)
3 row: We knit for the rear walls of the loops, one row 12 RLS (12)
4 row: one row 12 sc (12)
5 row: 10 sc, 1U (11)
6 row: 9 sc, 1U (10)
7 row: 8 sc, 1U (9)
8 row: 7 sc, 1U (8)
Add a little filler to the hoof. Do not fill the rest of the paw. Attach a beige thread
9-48 rows: We knit 40 rows of 8 sc (8)

We measure and cut the thread 20-25 cm long for sewing paws to the body.

The length of one paw was approximately 18 cm.

Design and assembly of parts.

We insert eyes with a secure mount. We connect the fleecy and smooth parts of the head and sew, not forgetting to stuff with a filler for toys.

The length of the head was 11 cm. The eyes can also be tied if desired, as I did, for example, when knitting the first Lamb pillow.

A black thread (iris) embroider the line of the mouth and nose. Optionally, you can "draw" eyebrows and eyelashes. I didn’t do it.

We fold the ears in half, giving them the desired shape, and sew to the head.

Sew paws to the body-pillow on four sides.

Well, and the final touch, we sew the head to the torso-pillow.

Now more than ever, knitting all kinds of different lambs and lambs is relevant, because the symbol of the next New Year is a sheep. We bring to your attention a master class of a pillow in the form of a lamb.

This wonderful pillow was tied by craftswoman Anya under the nickname naffanya in the Country of Moms
